Okay so for the United States of America its thanksgiving tomorrow. As many people should know that it is a different date than Canada.

Okay, im just wonder why for the 'USA' thanksgiving Omni changed the banner but for the Canadian thanksgiving he left it the same. There are many people on HF who im sure would have loved to see the Canadian holidays being acknowledged.

Omni is American. I doubt Omni even realized it was thanksgiving in canada on canadian thanksgiving, so it probably wasn't his top priority.

Imagine if Omni changed the banner for every variation of a holiday or every holiday for that matter. Think how often he would need to make new ones.

I also live in Canada, and could really not care less. Its only thanksgiving that lands on a different date other major holidays are the same. Omni is from the US and therefore he will change it according to his holidays.

Yes I understand there are a lot of holidays for religions and stuff but imo the Canadian thanksgiving is really big and there are A LOT of people on HF from Canada.

Well Omni does live in the US and the HF servers are hosted in the US but that doesn't mean that Canadian holidays are going to be acknowledged. Put it this way your Canadian someone else rants about their country not being acknowledged for their holidays then we have members ranting about their country holidays not being acknowledged. It's just too much work and stress for Omni. He has to deal with lots of stuff in personal live including HF and all sorts of other obstructions.
