It's a shame to see members misuse their abilities, and thing's they've earned through loyalty, and respect from other members, then to mis-use it on members. Honestly reputation is the most pointless thing I've ever seen, a vouch system ,or feedback would work, where there isn't positive, or negative, just feedback.
Good post, thanks for sharing.
Like the idiot on top with all of those negative.
It's funny, cause when I joined this community. L33t and ub3r judge others from rep. Even other forums too, it's just really sad to see that. Judging others by rep. 🤝
Here you go, I'm abusing my power over you. Fuck me, right?
Good views OP.
Sad, but true. The worst part is that it won't stop. People think it's funny to negative rep anyone or to let it be known that their opinion is the only thing that matters.
It's hard to get a +1, kinda achievement to have and and soo damn easy to get a -3. Ignorant kids.
I'm sure someone will - rep me for this post coz' they enjoy the fact that I can't - rep them back.

"Its so hard to get rep I want to go into the market place"
I seen members make a thread like that with there first post ever made.
I also have seen multi accounters who have scammed, spammed infected links make threads like that.
For more info visit my thread - https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3196730 Well that's why you "Old" members are there for. Make this community a better place.
Listen. We pay for this shit, thus meaning we can do whatever we wan't?
No rules are being broken when using the reputation, so what's the problem.
I agree with you, I think it's sad that some Ub3rs and L33ts do this. I my self have never done it just for the fact that it can be disheartening. But on some level, the user might deserve the negatives, take in to account the users the SE us just to get rep or the ones that say "It's so hard to get rep. Any tips?" Sure the reputation is flawed, and sure some users abuse their power, but sadly, there's nothing much we can do.

No rules are being broken when using the reputation, so what's the problem. Wouldn't you hate if over 5 users negative repped you? Yea that's the problem.
Thanks for posting, we really needed this.
The amount of hate thrown at genuinely nice new members is abhorrent.

No. I wouldn't care too be honest G.
I understand the point, the reputation is unfair, but it's breaking no rules.
so it's not a problem.
When I first joined Hackforums I got a neg 3 from Poppins and bitched about it. I had over 14 negative at that point. After I got L33T all those reps for some reason started vanishing from my list, I can only assume they delete there negatives. After I got Ub3r only one negative was left, and that was from poppins himself. I now have over 200rep and stayed throughout it all even after wanting to leave. So if a member can't put up with it, then we don't need them. IF you think about it logically they got that neg rep for something thats usually fair and just... And then while knowing the rules post that thread regardless. So if I can stay after getting fucked with neg reps then why can't everyone else.
This is really true, thank god somebody had the balls to point this out. Now the only thing is who's gonna have the balls to treat new members with respect
Well it happened to me just a loads of times i was like " Da faq ?! I didn't do anything to get (-ve) repped Why ?! " But nothing i was thinking of can't just you guys remove the rep shit or make it only allowed once in the topic ? and only one point or such ?.
Why do I need to know this? I don't.
A rep is someone's opinion on someone, people are allowed opinions.

Oh my god, grow the fuck up. When your first going to neg him, give it a valid reason.
