I've always wanted to be apart of this group, but English is not my native language, so therefor I do not think I'd do so well.
Nonetheless, this is a great group, and I wish all the applicants good luck!

Best of luck to you, we shall see who gets in soon!
Would apply my self, but English is not my first language, Good luck to everyone nonetheless! :D
English being a second language does not bar you from the group, so long as you are confident in your communication and writing, and we approve your application.
What, if any, wiki's have you worked on?
My friend Darwin and I created a fan-made Naruto (Anime) wiki page and I wrote tons and tons of articles about characters, theories, attacks, weapons and more. In the wiki I provided links, images, videos, sources and had excellent grammar on the pages I worked on. Sadly it was taken down as my friend had to continue with college and wasn't able to pay for hosting, and I as well did not have time to work on it but now I am back and ready to work as much as I can.
Why do you want to join the HF Wiki team?
I love the Hackforums community, and I want to help members, new and old, gain information on features and topics relating to hackforums. I want to write things that will be seen by my community. I want to write things that will be acknowledged by my community, and mostly, I wanna write things that will help my community. That's why I want to join the HF Wiki team, I am always seeking ways to support HF and I know this is one of them, so I'm taking that chance and applying to join the Writ3rs to write new pages about new features, people and more. I will talk with the community which I admire, I will cooperate with them and think of new ideas for the Wiki as well as assist them with whatever they need.
Example Article
So I have created an example article, but I don't like to do the ordinary, just what every other member did. I like to do more than that so I made a Wiki page for it too and I will provide both below!
Code Hackforums - Gauth
Gauth or Google Authentication is the new Hackforums feature which is still currently in beta and is being worked on by Omniscient but is available for all UB3R members of Hackforums. This can be accessed at https://hackforums.net/gauth.php
What Is Gauth?
Gauth is a security feature for UB3R members of Hackforums meant to give users a chance to login without needing password or email access, this is done with the scanning of unique QR codes and the codes being saved to Google Authenticator which works with the HF Gauth feature to save the QR code and gives you the ability to scan the code and enter the key given from the Google Authenticator application into HackForums to gain access to your account. More information on how to use Gauth will appear later on.
How to Use Gauth
Here I will provide a step by step tutorial on how to configure and use Gauth successfully, this tutorial will also provide pictures to help you achieve full understanding of the feature and how to use it to your best capability
Reqiurements
Google Authenticator Mobile App (Android, IOS and Blackberry Compatable)
An UB3R Hackforums Account
A Mobile Device with a Camera for scanning
Guide
Go to https://hackforums.net/gauth.php and you should see this:
Open Google Authenticator on your mobile device
Tap the small "+" icon on the bottom right corner of the application
Click "Scan Barcode"
Scan the barcode and make sure it is alligned, once correctly scanned it will automatically exit the scanner
You should have a code that says "HackForums" underneath that, that means you have correctly scanned it.
Enter the code on the HackForums Gauth page.
You shuold have this message: "Success. Your Gauth code is now activated"
Extra Features
You can now visit Gauth and you are able to test the code if it is working and you should get messages like "Valid Code" and "Invalid Code". You can also Clear/Reset the code if you want to change something or remove the Gauth feature
Benefits of the Gauth Feature
The Gauth feature provides many benefits and bring just another reason to upgrade to UB3R to the table. This feature gives you security and prevents hackers from gaining full access to your account unless they come to your house and steal your mobile device which has a very low possibility of actually happening. If a hacker gets access to your password, and your email's password, you can use your mobile device and Google Authenticator to get a new password or change the email to another one, then change your email password and account password for safety reasons.

Thank you for reading my application, hope I am considered and I promise you will not regret it! Normally I would be thinking, I can't apply, I don't have enough prestige, but sometimes you want something really badly, you may not be able to work for it in one area (prestige) so you push it as hard as you can in another (application). I am really hoping you can consider my prestige and understand I am a very hard worker, thanks!
You can also find my previous application here, it is different than this one: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id34126316

What, if any, wiki's have you worked on?
I'm going to be honest; I have not worked on any wiki's throughout my period on the internet. That is why I am applying for Writ3rs, I look forward to new things, and I latch onto them easily.
Why do you want to join the HF Wiki team?
I'd like to join Writ3rs for the reason that it seems like something thought-provoking to do. I'm a much matured user, and I get along well with other workers. English is not my principal language, but I always love to put pen to paper. Whether it is in Spanish, English, or occasionally Dutch, I continuously write limericks to get my mind off of things. I try not to focus on the vetoes, but the positives. I love to transcribe, in my honest opinion it is one of the greatest things to do.
I feel that I am the right individual for this position because of my experience, my behavior, and my education. I have the determination and necessary skills for this asset. My attitude and will power references will tell you that I am dependable, a tough worker, and easy to work with. I am enormously overwhelmed with Writ3rs and would feel privileged to be a part of the group.
Myself being a college apprentice, it includes a ton of writing, but I relish it, and constantly take pride in my work. I'm outgoing to a certain degree, and I like to try different things. Writing a wiki is undeniably new to me, bearing in mind that I have never done so before. I honorably think being accepted to the group (we could only pray) would value me in several ways. I think it would help me learn more English expressions, additional terms and everything of that category, but not only that it can correspondingly help me learn to write wiki's. I'm a committed user, and always ready to learn anything. Every time I start on something I am concentrated on my work, and I do not stop until I finish the project that I am working on. When I'm working on something, I always try my hardest, unlike many people. I believe in the saying, "Go big, or go home", and I always choose to "go big".
Example Article:
Code Iceybunneh, also known as the “Innuendo Queen”, has recently reached a total of a whopping 4,000 posts in the Innuendo Section; it’s quite incredible seeing as she devotes her time into helping other users with their sexual problems. As far as I have researched, she is the most active user in the Innuendo category of the forum, as of now. Certainly, I can see her continuing to post actively in the section as she already does. With all of that being said, there’s an important factor that comes with posting. As you can tell, she has been an avid member of the official Hackforums group, known as the “Writ3rs”. As far as I could tell, her grammar is flawless, containing no errors whatsoever. Every post she makes, she puts 100% effort into it, and makes sure that it is as high quality as possible. Iceybunneh is a very special user to the community. Not only is she one of the most high quality user’s forum wide, but she is also one of the most helpful members I have ever heard about, or have done research on.
Approximately 60% of Icey’s posts are contained in the Innuendo Section. Honestly, if that does not give an image in your head, and show’s to you how much time, effort, and dedication she puts into her posts, and her activity, I do not know what will. Looking around at her posts, you can obviously tell that she is a kind user, and always willing to help any user that requests it. Whenever I “interviewed her”, I asked her the following question; “Could you please explain to me how you are so dedicated to the Innuendo Section, and what keeps you motivated to help users,” she simply replied back with the most straight forward answer you could ask for. Her answer to my question was; “I was trying to find a place on HF where I “fit in,” if that makes sense. Like, I didn't know enough about hacking sections to post confidently, but relationships have been some I know. I've had a few relationships, but they were all long-term and with my current marriage, I get a different insight. I'm kind of a sap though; Like, if I see a guy who can't talk to a girl, there are simple solutions (well, simple that I see) that he can do. So I try to nudge him in the right way. Sometimes it works, and it's a good feeling to know that I've helped. Plus, a lot of bad information gets passed around when the trolls post, so setting the record straight may be necessary.” In my opinion, you could not get a clearer answer, than what she stated. Everyone should most definitely show their respect to her as she is one of a kind, and definitely a unique, kind user. Usually you do not find users like this roaming the forum, dedicating their time to helping people with real life problems. To top off her kindness, is the majority of the time, she actually succeeds in her quest to help the user, and give them straight forward advice on what to do. When you are around Icey, you can feel comfortable with yourself, and if you’re talking to her you can ask her any type of Innuendo related question, and she’ll reply with a 100% accurate answer that will most definitely help you out.
To sum this article about Iceybunneh up, I’m going to write a paragraph about her, and how I feel about her dedication to Hackforums, and helping the users. Iceybunneh is obviously an extremely high quality user that does not get enough attention for her actions. She devotes her time into the forum, and assisting users the require help with sexual related problems. She’s very kind and willing to do anything for you. I hope I can get to know her better, and if I do, I really look forward to it, as I guarantee anyone would. Her grammar is superb, and I have not seen a single post that she has submitted that has contained a grammatical flaw. Finally for the final conclusion, we can all say that Iceybunneh deserves more respect, and more attention than what she is currently getting.

I also wrote a personal Wiki article on my personal life.
Code My name is Josh, and I was born on the 26th of March, in the year of 1994. I weighed 8/5 pounds, but I do not recall my length. My father and mother separated whenever I was roughly 4 years of age which was tremendously devastating. When I was a small child, I hardly had a clue what was going on, so it did not really matter to me, but whenever I started to grow up, it started to kick in, and realized that I did not have a father to bond with. My mom was always suffering from illnesses, such as; cancer, pneumonia, fevers and so many more. It honestly broke my heart, coughing non-stop, and she could not do anything about it. She worked 3 jobs, just to support me. My mom was my life she was everything to me. Her main priority in life was to make sure I stayed in good physical shape, and had a good education so I could go to college.
Elementary school was definitely one of the most pointless times in my life. I was a brilliant child, so elementary school was ultimately useless to me, considering that I did not learn anything. My mom continued to get sick, and I believe that she got worse every day of her life. Whenever I came home from school every day, I remember going into my room and crying for hours because I didn’t want her to pass away. She always told me not to worry about her, and just focus on my life goals. My mother is definitely the strongest person I had ever known. She fought through cancer, pneumonia, several fevers, and so on.
Middle school was definitely not any better than elementary school. Every day I walked through the doors I got made fun of, non-stop. I was morbidly obese, extremely unattractive, shy, and self-conscious. I always went into the bathroom stalls after every class and cry until the next class started just to let all of my emotions out. Fortunately I never got caught crying by any of the students, but if I did, I know school would be even more terrible than it already was. Crying honestly helped me a lot, considering I was able to let my emotions out. After my first year of middle school, things continued to get worse, and worse, and worse until I could not take it anymore. I walk angrily into the cafeteria, went up to the people that were bullying me and screamed in their face. I don’t quite remember what I said, but I remember it actually helping somewhat. My 3rd year was probably my favorite, and my best year. My attitude for the whole year was an attitude that resembles not giving a fuck what anyone says about you. I was self-confident, and I can proudly say that confidence will get you very far in life. I graduated out of my middle school, 2nd, or 3rd out of the whole school. Graduating that high out of a school with close to 1,000 students made me very proud.
High school is a terrifying moment for everyone in life. Sometimes you may get bullied, and some time you may be bullying. In my case however, I was the one getting bullied. I transferred to a different district, which means I had to go to a different high school than my childhood friends. It was pretty tough, but I eventually got passed it. I was once again being bullied, but the bullying eventually stopped whenever I started working out and playing sports. I switched my life around, using my marketing money to buy memberships at the local gym to train. I did very well academically, and sports wise. I won the “Player of the Year Award” for baseball, out of the whole country of Netherlands. It was definitely the greatest moment of my life, and I’ll never forget it. That was definitely a turning point for my life. I was starting to become well respected, and known all over the country. High school flew by I did extremely well academically and sports wise all of my years there.
I got a scholarship for baseball to a college in Spain, and going to Spain for baseball has definitely been one of my best decisions I have ever made before. Spain is extremely far away from Netherlands, but I always keep in touch with my friends back home. One day when I was at baseball practice, I got a phone call from the hospital my mother was staying at. Whenever I answered my phone, I heard the most devastating news I’ve ever received in my whole life. Whenever the doctor told me my mother passed away, my heart felt like it sunk to the bottom of my stomach. I felt like I was going to die, and overall terrible. I started to regret living my life anymore, and had extreme suicidal thoughts. I eventually got passed that, and continued my baseball career, and still currently am training to become one of the best baseball players in Spain.
Will probably only keep this open for another week or two. Come and apply if you're going to do
then do it now.

Indeed.
If your English isn't brilliant if it's understandable someone can always correct it.
