The Abuse of Sections

The "MP3 section" is for general music. The dubstep section is for dubstep music. It has over 4000 threads and surely deserves its own section.

Bottom line is, it's only 10% of the forum in that section, and the potential is much greater. If it could get a sub section, then why not try to see if it can? We should really just ask omni dude..

Also, do you consider getting free crypts advanced hacking? If so, please let me know.

If a distinction can be made between mp3 music and dubstep music, visual basic coding and C# coding, and others then one can defiantly be made between crypters and HQ Informational Cryptography content.

Dubstep is related to music, crypters are related to cryptography, yet dubstep is more distinct than general music and crypters aren't enough?

I agree. I totally do. Thing is that any of the threads are not breaking any rules (you know what I mean). They are posted in the right section.
Now the next thing to do, is to consider if making a new section is appropriate.

I agree too that they are posted in the right section, and I believe it would be appropriate for a sub-section within the Cryptography section to be made for crypters.

Doing so wouldn't stop the flow of crypter threads in their subsection, it would continue to thrive along with an increase in the amount and visibility of non crypter related cryptography threads within the main part of the Cryptography section.

There are many positive benefits from adding a subsection within the Cryptography section for crypters.

I have yet to hear a substantial negative from doing so, but if you truly have one then please state it, otherwise I just see a win win for everyone.

Your right, it did!

Does anyone else have any feedback they'd like to share/contribute to this idea? It seems as if it's been unresolved by staff.
I say crypter threads should only be in the market place. Keep cryptography for tutorials and questions.

I couldn't agree more.. but a compromise wouldn't hurt (sub-section?)
Just going to this, so people can see this! This thread has been unresolved and it'd be nice to see others feedback including staff, or even Omni himself. :p
It's simple: report the "abusive" threads as "wrong forum" and they will be taken care of.
You even said it yourself that reports are being dealt with.
We can't make users use a section right. We can only discipline those who use it wrong.
