Yea, that's how I feel about Bleach and Naruto, I like them better in English. 😝
First of all, I love dubs when they're done right. Usually by Funimation. Actually all the time. I agree with Kotomi. Because Death Note which is filled with dramatic screams, is a must watch in Japanese and I found the English version a bit goofy.

I think when the anime is filled with girls like Kanon or Clannad, it's a bit better to watch in Japanese because their voices are cuter. But I watched all Key anime in English and I had no problem.

I HATE people who think they're more of a hardcore fan than you because they watched it in Japanese or hate on the dub only because it's not the "original"

Anyways, it depends on the anime who dubs it, but for sure the best dubbed anime is Baccano! Their voices are so good and it takes place in New York and Chicago so it makes sense it's dubbed, and the dub is perfect cause of their accents.

I hate them as well. I stopped reading comments on Youtube because all I see are people complaining about dub. (I don't use Youtube to watch full episodes, just certain fights/parts that I missed)

Just throwing them out there if they haven't been mentioned before;
Code Geass (English Dub)
Sword Art Online (Subbed)
Death Note (English Dub)
are all absolutely amazing :)

It all depends on the anime I guess, I don't think I can watch any of those using the inversed option, especially not Code Geass.

I've seen one episode in English dub and it sounds okay. Never heard in sub.
Go for it dude! anime is great
Imo subbed is the way to go but if you can't multitask with reading and watching you will have troubles
and as for dubbed it limits your choices vastly

The only reason I avoid dubs are because most of the time they just don't sound right, you know what I mean? The only animes I've watched in dubs are
  • FMA: Brotherhood
  • Death Note (I think, can't exactly remember)
  • Naruto
  • Naruto Shippuden (up to episode 126 where the dubs stopped, I actually never went back to dubs after switching to subs)

But again, I'm not one of those anime douches who think lesser of people for watching dubs. The only advantage I can see in watching subs over dubs is
  • 1) You get a wider selection of anime to chose from if you refuse to watch subs
  • 2) You can watch your fav. anime sooner, it takes time to dub

Pretty much this- though if there was good dubs everywhere i'd prefer it too-
:3
Subs are always the best, they sound more real, and it's usually easier to sub than dub, sub takes 24 hours and dub takes from 1 week to forever, depending on the people who like the voice acting.

I recommend subs because you can't tell if it's bad voice acting, at least I can't. With English dubs, you can tell right off the bat if it has terrible voice acting. For good anime to watch, if you prefer the fighting genre, I recommend:

Attack on Titan is what got me hooked to anime and my interest just spread out from there. I have a couple guest passes for Crunchyroll, which is a site for streaming anime, I can give you so you can try out all the shows you want. However, the guest passes only last for 48 hours but the actual subscription for the service is relatively cheap (around 7 USD a month).
