Rule

Xbox Product Problems and New Policy

Sounds good, I've often wondered about this.

I'm assuming the same "used/modified" rule goes for Xbox accessories such as controllers, mic, battery packs, etc.?

Maybe I'll change the wording to Hardware.

This thread is so I can get some feedback on the rules before I make them official.

Would this cover repair services?
Well, you asked for feedback so I'll give some. This is fucking stupid. You've allowed Xbox LIVE to be sold after the banishment of Xbox LIVE currencies and points for so long, so what has changed now? I know Microsoft's CEO or w.e hasn't contacted you requesting this to be done, so why the change of heart?

With every update to HF where you take away something this site is well known for, it slowly decays the quality that the marketplace brings to the forums. If I was a new member now joining these forums, I would not be as intrigued as I was to join several years ago.
I was sure that you needed KV's to play online with JTAGs? Am I wrong in this thinking?
If its the case wouldn't it be okay to have KV's allowed for that reason? What is reasoning behind KV's being banned?

Just curious myself, not an xbox pro or anything XD.

This. Hf is getting kinda soft.
Thanks for clearing this topic up. Regards sir.
Is there any chance the gold codes could be saved lol - really though, I have to agree that this is in the best interest of HF.
No more xbl codes? go fuck yourself..jk pls no ban.
Hope you'll add a new sub forum for Gaming Services & Deals =)
you know, the Xbox Live Membership Codes brought me out of pauperism last year.i am eternally thankful for that, and the currency exchange section. sad to see it go

If you're going to nix the sale of Xbox Live/MS points, then there is no point in allowing PlayStation Plus/PlayStation Network cards either.

Consider allowing Xbox trial codes offered by Microsoft, the 48 hour and 14 day editions.

A few months ago I'd be salty as fuck because buying discounted xbl was a major reason I used forums. It'll probably lower site activity by a group of people.
Regardless I do definitely see why you disallowed it. There's a high as duck fraud potential.
Thanks for clearing up the rules, but I would also like to have trial memberships (anything under 1 month) be allowed:

What about 48 hour and 7 day xbox live gold codes? I'd presume these are allowed since these are trial codes.
