I thought you were mentioning the part where I said to edit Tor's proxy settings to run it through something.

I have not tested it, but would the first setup in your post not connect to .onion websites? Because to access onion sites, while you are still connected to tor, you are using a VPN before the onion site, and you will still not be able to connect. If I remember what I've read elsewhere correctly.

I would just stick to Tor and multiple relay's and a safe exit-node to visit .onion's and would dodge proxies to use Tor since they are not vey safe and stick to addon's that block Javascript, Flash etc. and use DuckDuckGo as search engine since Google is very annonying on Tor and not safe.

With the issue of screen resolution, that's why you keep the TOR browser at its default size as they tell you.

Most safe one would include Whonix/Tails, hacked wi-fi, tweaked browser, Tor, tunneling software, proxies/VPN and your OPSec.

What of having an old computer running linux firewall and another running whonix that you use as a gateway for tails and run unsafe browser in tails (with proper addons installed), along with what you've mentioned? At a point this kind of stuff gets tricky.

Using acoustic couplers and a modem on a pay phone tunneled through Tor on a VPN with a virtual machine is the most secure setup you can reasonably have.

Yeah I am going to. As new security measures come into play and some die out, plan on adding and removing fairly frequently.
