And didn't the owner of Debug say the group was going to stick around and not be sold?

Instinct isn't being sold out of choice 🙃

Sold again?
Can you tell me when Instinct was ever sold?

Because that's what I'm reading. The prices for groups are stable at between $8,000-$10,000. Two groups are currently on the market for $9,000 (Null and Instinct). Debug is being sold to its new owner for $8,000. It's a far cry from the $2,000 that I remember because of the demand for new groups, but that does not mean the price should increase indefinitely. The price will crash if it goes up too high. Keep the prices at somewhere in the same range and everything will be fine.

That's because this is kid Economics 101. They figure they can drive the price up on a virtual group when from what I have seen, they are harder to keep up now.
Shut the fuck up, newfagget. You don't control the market and neither do you control the prices.

Does it really look like I give a shit? 🤫
(unless that wasnt to me, then sorry)
6K for some virtual group isn't a bad deal. Not even relative to 9K. It just isn't as good as 9K.

Lol, it was meant towards the OP of the thread.

The entire point of having a group is to make money with it, why do you think omni sold groups? ( to make money ) else he would of given them away in a contest. ( same with the omc group, sold and not given )

This entire forum is about making money, but also having fun and enjoying your stay. ( owners make money, you members enjoy your stay and have fun. ) ( another example: omni makes money, you guys have fun )

This whole ''LQ'' thing got started by some hateful kids who couldn't make it happen for themself so they began bashing groups for it.

Typical banter from a new member.

Groups didn't used to be an investment for the owner to make money. They were for the community by the community. They had a purpose and appealed to the general audience.

Your "I'm a business man heheh" mindset is the exact reason this community is dying.

For once, I agree with what you're saying.

People have become way too greedy, and are focussing on profit gains instead of actually bettering the community. Hopefully, within the next few weeks, I can start something to change that. But for now, we're going to need to cope with the lack of groups that exist to help out the community, and put their needs under those of the community's.

I wish there was a registration date limitation for owning a group. A minimum of two years on site experience at least.

Tired of new members joining and within a year just throwing ten racks on a group that they only intend to use to make money with.

Meanwhile everyone else, usually older more tenured members with no cash flow, are begging for a group that actually serves a purpose on the forum.

There are plenty of us who are expressing the same sentiments.
You're not alone when it comes to that, because I'm honestly sick and tired of seeing people register to the site, buy a group after a while, milk the shit out of it, and sell it off.

The majority of groups honestly have no selfless purpose on the site these days, especially when they don't help out the community, and I've grown weary of it.

In recent months, most (not all) groups appear to simply serve the purposes of their owners to acquire wealth or notoriety. They claim to serve a different purpose entirely, but fall very short of that goal (intentionally or accidentally).

Not to disagree with what you're saying, I'm just curious about how you define a "purpose" for these groups? Isn't instinct there to gather all the gamers etc? Null doing it's thing, gathering the most knowledgeable members and doing hacking services and studentprograms for those that want to learn?
