Hey guys, I've been trying to use ettercap + mitmf here lately and I seem to be having issues with ettercap, in both GUI and text mode I get the same error after I start sniffing, as soon as it gets results it crashes back to the terminal and displays "This shouldn't be happening... Segmentation fault... Please recompile in debug mode.." What does this mean and how can I fix it? I'm running a fresh install of the latest Kali Linux.. Thanks everyone I really appreciate it!!
P.S. why does Ettercap & nmap not find a host that is connected to my gateway? I have two computers one running windows 8 and one running Kali, and I can not find the windows computer on Ettercap or nmap, and when I search specifically for my windows computer on nmap it says the host is down.. What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much! 🤝
