Just simply haven't had the time because I am all about programming, but my dream is to be able to produce house besides programming and I will start slowly from now on. I think I'd rather contact you one day in the future, to get some basic help on questions I stumble upon. Tbh I have everything I need, Sylenth1, Nexus2 and vengeance kit so I just have to start producing I guess.
Anyways I also wonder if there are any good tutorials on youtube that goes through the building of a track, how to use the program etc. I seem to not be able to find any free/good ones as of yet. Thanks in advance!
Hello man and thanks!
Oh I'm really glad you're gonna try to get back into it again, and yes you basically have all the plugins that's needed.
I don't know how much you know about FL Studio but as you said you were a newbie I will assume you're basically very new to this.
There's a lots of FL Studio tutorials, and I really mean a lot!
Depending on what you wanna learn there's basically one for every genre.
Here's a EDM Tutorial for beginners that could help you out to get started:
Also, let me know if you have any other questions :)

Awesome to hear man! I'm here if you need any questions answered.
Do it man!
Why did I only find out you have this help desk just now? I've been using FL Studio for over a year now, on and off, attempting to improve through trial and error. I focus on a very specific electronic music genre called goa trance, oldschool to be more specific. I make all of my sounds (30+) using a VST called Sylenth but feel like I'm missing some core techniques such as side chaining and how to properly assign and boost specific frequencies per sound, and then master everything in such a way that no sound overlaps a frequency band that should be more prominently present on another sound. The usage of the compressor (doesn't matter if it's the built-in Sylenth one or the one FL Studio offers) is also not yet fully clear to me. Let me know if you can give more insight on that part or anything else I've described. If you want to review my work(s) in progress, hit me up!
I started out with HipHop-Beats, went to handsup (techno). to progressive house, big room, then future house, melbourne bounce, psytrance and ending up with future bass and dubstep.
Well, i hope we can keep this thread alive, since it is an awesome idea! ♥

Sorry for the wall of text :)
Do you have a specific thing thats missing? Or is it just the feeling thats something needs to be more detailed?
Just probably worth noting, to make a song you don't need Nexus, NI, Sylenth and Serum to do a great job on a track. I also would pay for the VST's/ Pluggins as if you get a crack it can make it buggy/unstable.

Great thread man!
If you ever want to talk music HMU. I’ve been using ableton for three years, and fl studio for 5.
I mix on my M AUDIO DX8 monitors and my sennheiser HD6 pro mix.
I have my audio interface, a huge studio rack, my Alesi keyboard, and my new subzero mic etc..
As of software I have the full waves bundle, fab filter bundle, izotope bundle, serum, sylenth1, and ANA.
What software are your favorite for mixing?
And how would you rate your sound designing skills? Also what genres do you produce? :)

That's one awesome setup!
I am using KRK Rokit 8 G2 Monitors and a KRK 10'' Subwoofer.
Using shitty preamp though (Creative Tracker Pre), buying a new one soon.
Izotope is my favorite plugin at the moment. I am not the best at mixing or mastering to be honest but I am trying to improve hehe.
