Hey,
There's this bug that causes the "User(s) browsing this thread"-list to completely blank out when there's a certain staff member watching it.
I found the bug out around a month ago but I forgot to make a report about it.
This doesn't happen with every staff member watching a thread, there's probably just this one staff member that played with the settings too much and that made that list blank out.
Here's an example:
This is the thread that remembered me of the bug:
https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5550709
Perhaps whichever staff member that removed Fiber's post (in page 2) can take a look at their settings and figure out what's causing it.
Thanks!

Are you sure it's staff? You can see if they set themselves on invisible already. They can't just make them disappear from the who's browing column

I imagine Minimalist was the one that removed it and he could have just left the thread or you refreshed while he was viewing a removal page or something.

Was either Eagle or Sam.
Possible it was Mini, he does love me.

I am not completely sure but the only other time that this has happened was a split second after a staff member just recently replied to a topic (which means that he/she must be viewing the thread.)
When the post (that I mentioned in the OP) got removed the list went blank as well.
I don't know for sure though, these are just assumptions.
I was hoping that someone (preferably side administrator -- but I don't want to bother with a PM) would be able to provide a reasonable explanation for this.
Also I have seen invisible staff viewing a thread before, yes.

I feel like it's Minimalist as well because it has happened before (as I mentioned in my other post) when he replied to a thread and that list went blank.
I didn't really want to point Minimalist out though since I didn't know for sure who was causing this. :p

If you want to see a real bug check my profile after I post this.

I don't think they can set themselves on invisible

Anyone can set themselves as appear offline, but if you're Ub3r you can see them
Actually changed the page so it's now only the past 3 days of bans available to Ub3r.
I gotta do what I can to destroy the utility of userscripts on HF that's screwing up the user experience.
I wish I could add a line of code to header to disable all of them completely.

Would it be possible to add the ban reason to profiles on the backend instead then? It was super helpful being able to see why people were banned easily like that
EDIT: Wait what does this bug have to do with the bans page?
