Hello!

I am having a few issues with kon boot and windows 10. It goes something like this:

- I go into the BIOS, turn off secure boot
- Boot to the USB with no issues
- Konboot loads and and says successful, asks me to press enter to continue
- I continue on and just before windows 10 loads I get a message saying Konboot has been unable to start.

Anyone else experienced this?

Yes I did, eventually I tried and tried again until it works out, I think it's windows 10 preboot antimalware or something like this since I saw a glimpse of a message.
And since konboot doesn't work with live account, another possibility is to either activate the hidden admin by using the utilman.exe trick or by decrypting the SAM file.

Mine tells me it wont work with Microsoft accounts but I swore it did. I went with the "create admin user" option. Makes a user called kon-boot I think.

That may be it! The account is a live account. How do you create an admin user?

It's not because it's a live account though. Kon-boot can't bypass live accounts, but it should execute and ask for the creation of an admin instead.
The fact that it stops during execution is jst a random bug I guess.

As for the creation of an admin, you just need to google something like bypass windows logon utilman.exe or hidden admin utilman.exe and you should find a full tutorial.

I think this is an issue with Windows 10 compatibility. I think I heard something along the lines of legacy mode will help
