The best advice I can give for those that deal with other higher ranking members, don't cause issues. Be respectful, don't bitch about rep that you don't like, if someone argues with you, just ignore it unless they are being civil and actually wanting a discussion rather than to flame and harass you. Theres no need to suck up to anyone thats a higher rank as long as you don't cause problems. Yes you will have some that are just assholes but there are 3 million users on this forum. I'm sure you can find a way to avoid those people.

You would be amazed by the amount of Ub3r members who actually care about their reputation. I want to use this as an example because it's fucking hilarious. The day I lost Ub3r the amount of people who decided to neg me was unreal.
Literally dropped 100 reputation because they were always afraid of that revenge rep. Ever since that new thread was posted in regards of members being allowed to apply for Ub3r again my reputation seemed to have increased by members editing their reputation on me.

My point being is just because a member is upgraded and you may not have any type of upgrade don't kiss their ass, let them neg you for speaking the truth or calling them out on their bullshit. When that happens you can upgrade yourself then eventually I know for a fact the majority of those members will be sliding in your DMs begging you remove the revenge reputation.

This post is probably not related to what I quoted you on but that's usually how it works around here. Upgraded members using the features they paid for by abusing newcomers because they got offended. Take some advice from me don't be afraid to speak the truth.

I understand where you are coming from. I've updated my rep before though on just normal users simply because I know I wasn't in a good mood when I repped them. I can be an ass and have a bad day too. I also agree with your points on the revenge reps. I've seen it before. I've had it before. I try to just resolve any issues that I have with members without trying to use the rep as a weapon.

You know I was called a mini-mod for like 1 year because I liked helping members. Now I just talk shit to members seems to be better.

It doesn't matter to me either way really. Helping others helps me keep a cool head. Idk why just something that helps cope with my anger issues.
