Dear All, please i would like to know if its necessary or if its a must to activate Gauth 2FA security feature on my account. This is because, i have lost access to my previous account after when i lost my phone, due to this reason, i do not want to activate this Gauth 2FA security feature anymore.
Your suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Not a requirement but it is highly recommended
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
No, it is not required.
However, just because your losing your phone doesn't mean that you are doomed. You still have a backup key and the possibility to recover your 2FA account.

I lost my old account due to this same Gauth 2FA security feature after when i lost my mobile, to prevent same thing from happening again, i think i have to overlook the feature since its not a must to activate it.

What 2 factor app did you use? Authy should allow you to avoid that issue.

You don't have to let it be like that. Use a backup key? Lol
It is not required but it is strongly recommended. If you use authy you'll always have access even if you lost access to your phone.
There's also an Authy extension for Chrome (if you use it) which means you can access your 2FA without your phone.

If you don't and your account is lost or stolen then Omni closes it.
