With all due respect, I'm confused as to why you want to wait until you've got a whole batch of approved applicants when it's rather clear most people won't make the cut. Wouldn't your decision to accept people from the first month motivate people to apply and/or work on their application?
Right now, the only impression I'm getting is that your group is looking for the top tier users only. Can't blame you for that, but after 40 days and this little result yielded, is a public thread even the way to go?

• VFX and GFX to some extent. I've been editing videos with Sony Vegas for 5 years now and my current job revolves around editing and making educative videos about different types marketing. I'm fairly good at GFX although I'm only good with casual photoshop stuff. I've done some logo designs before as well but It's not something I'm used to.
  
• Writing and researching. I've always loved writing since I was young. I am currently writing articles for a Finnish e-sports related news company. I love doing research and writing about it. I also know de-tracing and doxing to some extent.
  
• Marketing and management. I've had a few success stories before I joined HF. I know how to manage a small company to some extent. Marketing has also been an interest to me since my dad works in that business. I have self-taught myself about marketing and I think I handle it nicely.

• Eclipse is a nice group full of high quality members. I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger on Hack Forums and I think Eclipse would be that. Why do you want to join Eclipse:

• I've been lurking around keeping my eyes on groups for some time now, but I never saw one I wanted to apply for. I mainly spend my time in the *nix section, because that's where I feel I help best, but the section is pretty dead for the most part. Everyone has used *nix on these forums, though. I feel as though I could bring some knowledge and contribute to Eclipse.

• To be honest, my post count is low for my time on the forums. I get that. And it may be asinine of me to apply for your group, but I thought, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." I've never been off of HF for more than a couple of months, mainly do to my job, but I am always back as if I never left. I've been around HF for a long time, and my career has pulled me around some very cool skillsets. I feel as though I could bring that to the table, and be an integral member of Eclipse. My activity has greatly risen in the past year, and I do not forsee that changing. I also understand I could be relinquished from your group should I become inactive. That's something I'm willing to roll the dice on. So why should you invite me to the group? I have a lot of knowledge I would like to contribute, to aid in making your group a more premium enviroment to help people learn.
