Can an 8 Year Old Xeon Processor Game?

Here is that budget computer I've been recommending. Lets see what it can do.

Next video will have a video card with 336 cuda cores, and 1gb of vram. It also supports DX12.

Yeah she runs pretty good for the budget!
What is fps like on tetris? Also can you run scorch 3d?

Runs better than expected for the budget, but I disagree with using a GPU that's hard to get a hold of for the benchmarking since it isn't something most people will be utilising - would have rather seen a 1050ti or something but it is what it is.
I could have done without the loud music, but great video!

Yeah! You could toss up to a 1080 in it.

It'll run the 1050ti fine. Just look up benchmarks for a 1050ti. The reason why I put in the higher end GPU is to try to bottleneck the cpu, but I failed at bottlenecking it. Once the rx 480/580 comes back in stock you could get build for under $375. It would be hell of a gaming computer as seen in the video.

Man rock out hard! lmfao!

Thanks. I wish I spent a little more time editing it though. :)

*If not when. Supposedly amd and nvidia are considering building GPUs with no video out specifically for miners, but I doubt those stop the problem if they can't produce enough of the current cards now.
The xeon's are real cheap and they run really well. :)

It will. Many people said the same thing when the 7000 series were out of stock all the time.

Yes and that is why I made this video to inform people. :)

This Friday you get to see that video of that GPU I was talking about in OP. I only paid $20 for it and I am surprised no one is able to guess what it is.

I'm guessing a GTX 560.

Any computer can game with a good graphics card when my gaming pc fried I bought a 2006 computer off ebay for like $80 and put my card/power supply in and I can play gta 5 on low settings just fine.

There is a pretty big difference between "playing fine at low settings" and playing with med-high settings @ 60fps...

2006..... so Pentium D 830 IIRC, what GPU?
Is that the 480 4gb or 8gb? Either way it's a good card for mining. You should definitely start mining some siacoin and Ethereum using claymore dual miner.

You're pretty close, but it is not the 560.

30fps average @ minimal settings. BF1 and Rainbow Six is 5-10fps @ minimal settings.

2006 was the time of the Pentium D
