Is there a service that gives you a phone number and redirects sms's to you?

So long story short my girlfriend is in a different country for a few months and can only sms other people in that country, is there a service that will give me a number in that country and forward all the messages to my phone?

Thanks

Why can't you use a free sms provider that uses other countries? I feel like that would be easier then a service. Maybe something like TextNow but located in another country.

Yeah stop using Lycra and get a proper provider.

No I do not, I don't use the apps myself. Just thought of the idea. Maybe it asks when you create the account and you choose the area code.
You could try using something like Textplus through a VPN? I am pretty sure that you can recieve normal texts through that, but I have not used this app in awhile.

Is she going to have access to internet on her phone? You can just use any chat app such as WhatsApp, Facebook Chat, Telegram, etc.
