I'm not happy with my current grades. 1st quarter I had a 3.71 GPA and coming towards the end of Semester 1 I am going to end up with a 3.5 right now. Im in freshman year and I don't really do much work, what can I do to improve?
I have 2 A's, one in IT and one in Health, the rest of my core classes are B's and B+'s
Again, it is my freshman year, my goal is to have a 3.6+ by the end of high school overall. I just don't know how the hell to study, never had to study before

The fuck.
The way to improve your GPA is to get better grades??????
Your only in your first year, if your asking this question and seriously don’t know how you improve your GPA then I fear for your future.

I mean like what does everyone else here do schedule or tips wise to improve their schooling efficiency?

Keep a planner definitely and make sure you prepare for your tests a week in advance.
The big thing in high school is just show up honestly. If you attend class everyday, take notes, and stay on schedule you should have no problem getting A's

Keep a planner or at least write down your homework somewhere. Are most of your B's coming from bad homework scores or test scores, or average on both? If it's average on both, then you need to do your homework completely and well, and then study afterwards. Studying can be hard to get used to, especially if you were always just naturally smart when it comes to most subjects. I would suggest taking something such as the VARK test so you can understand how you learn better if you really are struggling with just the basic of "reading the textbook / doing extra problems"

I do miss a lot of homework and I haven't really had to study before because I have a decent memory.
I will try the vark test and post the results here.
Thank you!

Do your homework the fuck. The reason people get As is because they're able to ace the portion of their grade that's projects and assignments. I've had math classes in college where like 60% of the grade is homework/projects and the other 40% is 3 exams through the class. You know damn well I bombed all 3 exams in Calc 2 and still pulled an A- because I got a 110% on the web assigns and then a 100% on the cumulative lab grades.
