So I have this idea for a blog type site. The site needs to be able to have a homepage which will show new articles written and new news that is trending related to the site, Needs to have easy use for the basic user. Would like if this was able to be mobile and desktop friendly. What would be the best way to make this site, I already have hosting that came with a cpanel along with the domain just need to know what would be the best way to make the site since im not very smart when it comes to HTML.

Sorry im really dumb ive never handled this part before.

Sorry im really dumb ive never handled this part before.Only used wordpress a few years back before I knew how to make my own sites. So I have no idea, it's just a CMS so I imagine you can add that functionality. As for the mailing list, just use MailChimp or make your own system, not that hard. Yes WordPress does give you this ability to do both of these but make sure you're installing WordPress from your hosting provider and not by going to WordPress.com. Installing plugins (although I discourage it) is probably best suited for you. |
