Post Editing Changes

Smart system.

+++++1

Especially the 5.
I like this new system, should prevent all form of abuses now.
Great job both of you :)
This compromise seems fair enough to curb the abuse that was happening. I'm also glad Staff now also have the ability to see past versions and revert edits. Good work Xerotic.

The hour begins when the post is created. After one hour from the post creation every edit will be logged.

Well I'm glad I read the rest of this thread before making my post. I was a bit concerned how this would affect marketplace threads but this really does seem like a good change. Nice job.

Nowadays? I'm just here for the nostalgia.

Glad to see this. The edit abuse should hopefully stem down and we can stop seeing content be removed from the forums.

Nice job Omni & Xerotic! Keep up the good work, men.

Your suggestion was for a rule to be added to the docs.. not for the creation of a whole fucking plugin..

Yeah, I know. I admit my comment was pretty ignorant. Didn’t mean to take credit for it, I’d be pissed if someone did that to me too.

Sounds good. Thanks for the update.

I would like to report a problem with this new change.

I was creating a thread with a bunch of MyBB code and every time I pressed preview page or went into full edit after it was posted, new MyBB code links were added.

I am reading this thread after the fact so I can provide no screenshots of it happening.

I will explain as best as I can.

After and before every [ code]
, " [ /url] was added. This also happened within the list code.

I would delete the random mybb codes and press preview post, it would show back up again.

I hope someone can replicate this problem.

This plugin shouldn’t affect full edit like that. Maybe it is bad MyBB code? If you could PM me a pastebin with an example post content that will create this error I can do further testing.

I will provide you the pastebin momentarily but for now here are some screenshots after the edit.

Gives me some badly parsed MyCode as well. However I do not believe this is an issue with this plugin. I believe that it may be an issue with your formatting. The 1.8 parser seems to work differently and can be “finicky”.

When I’m on my desktop I’ll take a closer look at your MyCode but I believe formatting is the issue here.

I will try to eliminate that as the issue. I have never experienced this before today.

Will update if I find the formatting as the issue.

This is a very good question.
I know i make more than 10 edits a week with the wiki
work list thread (Notable members) and with over 200 members in that list.
