Recovering Metals From Obsolete Technology Cheaper Than Mining
Electronic waste, colloquially referred to as e-waste, is defined as the discarded technology of years past. There have been plants extracting the small amounts of precious metals contained in these products for years, but this new research conducted by ACS’ journal Environmental Science & Technology finds it is cheaper to remove these metals than to mine more from the planet. Current estimations have approximately 50 million tons of the waste being produced this year. At a scale like that, it is not difficult to see how much the cost can be brought down in these facilities. >>Source

Global Warming Visits the United States Soon
Statistically, more people in the United States die from heat-related conditions than any other type of weather. Climate change in many areas of the country is projected to break out of natural levels within the next two years. There is a graphic of these four areas included in the source article for those included; these areas are labeled as the great lakes, northern planes, southern planes and the west. It is also projected that global warming will be attributed to more than half of the heat waves in the United States by 2020. The article also points out that because we are currently within natural levels does not mean global warming is not having an effect on the United States. It means the effect has not been severe enough to push us out of these natural barriers. >>Source

Palestian Journalist shot in Abdomen by Israeli Sniper
A Palestinian journalist, video director and photographer who was recently offered a freelance position with MEMO, was recently hospitalized after being shot in the gut by an Israeli sniper while cover "The Great March of Return near Gaza's eastern border." Yaser Murtaja, the shot journalist, was wearing a vest that had the word 'PRESS' printed on the front and back, though despite this, was still shot while on a hilltop. Yaser is the founder of Ain Media, a company consisting of "a dozen Palestinian media professionals" who were also covering the events during Friday's march. Mr. Murtaja has completed numerous freelance deals in his professional career. Most notably, he has had work published by BBC Arabic, VICE, and UNICEF, amongst many others. Yaser's passion for filmography lies with his desire to "shed light on the reality of life in Gaza and the plight of fellow countrymen under occupation and blockade." During the march, Israeli forces have murdered no less than 23 Palestinians at this time. >>Source

Trumps Declares EU as Being 'solidly against us' on Trade
On April 5, President Trump made a statement directed towards the European Union, criticizing them on their trade policies. Trump says that European barriers in their markets "have made it nearly impossible for U.S. companies to do business there." 'If you look at the European Union, it's very solidly against us i terms of trade,' Trump says at a press conference on Thursday. He then adds, "it's almost like we can't even do business." Broadly stated, the president goes on to say that the EU "sends its cars and 'everything' to the United States, 'and they don't want to take our product.' Though when President Trump conducts accusations as such, it is always a good thing to fact check the information that he so heavily preaches. In 2016, according to data provided by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the European Union had taken in $501 billion from the United States in goods and services, making them one of the top export markets for the country. Coinciding, they lost $91 billion in trade deficits that same year, seeing as they imported $592 billion worth of goods and services. >>Source

Razer is Now Selling Games
Razer is a company that creates gaming products for players to use. Things like headsets and keyboard to enhance your gaming experience. Most recently the company has created their very own game store. If you are looking for a certain game to download, it might be offered on this website that you can find here. Is buying from Razer better than Steam? Better yet, G2A and other services that allow you to get games for cheaper? Of course that is opinion based; however, it does not really seem too wise to purchase from Razer. Games are sold at a base price, so you are pretty much just buying the game on a different service. Razer states that they are not trying to compete against big platforms like Steam but look at themselves like "resellers." What makes this shop different than your trustworthy Steam shop is the bonuses you get when purchasing games. Occasionally there will be sales on the games being sold. In addition to that, you can get promos, vouchers for other games, and a currency system that Razer has implemented called "zCash." The zCash system works like silver and gold and depending on how much you have; you can purchase games without spending hard cash. That is pretty much a contradiction since you are spending money to not spend money. Oh, well. Lastly, Razer states that all the keys and codes you get are legit. Well, they should be. Hopefully. This may be an alternative to websites like G2A that may have codes that are stolen and carded, despite still being a cheaper price. World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Launches August 14
If you are tired of the same old grinding and the same raids, you are finally going to have a chance to switch it up in World of Warcraft. This summer in August, Blizzard will be releasing the next expansion for World of Warcraft. Battle of Azeroth was recently revealed not too long ago at an event that Blizzard hosted at their headquarters. The game has been running for 14 years, definitely a huge accomplishment. Many players have spent hours playing this game leveling up different characters, making new friends, and have done so with sixth different expansions. The level cap will be raised to 120 and players will have the chance to explore new continents depending on which faction you have chosen. Things to expect are new raids, quests, and of course items. That has not changed at all. With the release of Legion, there was the introduction of the Demon Hunter. With Battle of Azeroth there will be no new special classes to choose from, but Blizzard plan on adding some new features to some of the existing classes. If you have the money to spend now, you can purchase the expansion and get exclusive items early. Taken from PC Gamer, " Those who prepurchased Battle for Azeroth can already unlock the Lightforged draenei, void elves, Nightborne, and Highmountain tauren." If you are a PVE player, details about the game mode Warfront were recently released. It will have a limit of 20 players per team and will require teamwork to fight against NPCs. >>Source

Spider-Man PS4 Has No Microtransactions, Is Locked at 30 FPS
Taken from the title it is good to know that there will not be any microtransactions. Just hearing that is a little fishy. Why the need for microtransactions anyway? To get cool exclusive skins for Spiderman? Yeah, no. Do not think many people would even play the game if there were microtransactions added. The friendly neighborhood spider everyone knows, and love will be swinging by to PS4 sometime in September. No release date was mentioned, and the game is planned to be a Sony PlayStation exclusive. Locked at 30 FPS, you will have the chance to explore an open world environment will playing as the Peter Parker from the Homecoming movie. If you have not seen the movie, we will not spoil what happens. If you had the chance to watch it, the story will take place after all the events that happened in the movie occurred. If you are a devoted Spiderman fan, you can pay a little extra to get the special edition of the game for $150. When purchasing this, you will get the DLC, an artbook, statue of Spiderman, and exclusive in-game content. >>Source

Studio Ghibli Co-Founder Takahata Isao Dies Aged 82
Studio Ghibli Co-Founder Takahata Isao Dies has recently passed away on April 5. Isao was 82 years old when he passed away in the hospital. Isao started his journey as a director back in 1968. At this stage in his, life he was an animator at Toei Animation where he helped on the The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun project. Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985 with Hayao Miyazaki. Takahata could best be described as the Japanese Walt Disney, and the messages and stories he created were fantastic classics that will forever be remembered by Studio Ghibli fans. >>Source

Comic Girls Anime Listed With 12 Episodes
Comic Girls recently started airing not too long ago. The story takes place with a 15-year-old high school student. Kaoruko Moeta is a manga writer and soon finds herself living in an all-girls dormitory with other manga artists. Moeta ends up getting two roommates, one who writes teen-romance manga and another that writes shonen manga. Together the girls work together to create better content. The anime is currently being streamed on Crunchyroll and plans on having 12 episodes. In addition, you will have the chance to buy blu-ray and DVD versions of the anime in the future. A good amount of those working on this project has worked on popular anime that fans may know of. These include Re:Zero, Lucky Star, and Re:CREATORS. >>Source

No One Cares More About Cool and Cute Than the Creator of Last Period
Japan loves advertising their mobile games. Streets, trains, and much more are filled with these game advertisements. The art put into these designs really pull people in to play the game. Bringing these people in bring business with microtransactions that the players can purchase to maybe increase a character's level or even looks. The Role-Playing game Last Period will be having an anime adaption that brings the fantasy you have been playing into a reality. While keeping the cool and cute characters that are popular with the game relevant, the creators plan on keeping them in the anime adaption but also adding some twists to the story. The anime plans on releasing this month of April. The female characters are surprisingly "thick" and are pretty hot if you like a little meat in the thighs.
