I support that idea.

One of the more obvious reasons is to ensure that members of the cartel are active. You do want anyone sitting in jail (inactive) for a long period of time, they are not of use to you, Godfather.

That would probably be a better system since we may need funds on a regular basis. There may be games that require bytes or methods of getting bytes stolen. Not sure what all cartels entail yet, but I definitely support the idea of monthly dues.

I'm considering halving the requirement to 2500 bytes then requiring a monthly fee of 1000 bytes (about 4-5 posts a day).

This promotes forum activity, ensures the vault will have a sufficient balance in case of emergencies, and will help keep track of how active the cartel is. Don't want any snakes. 😝

This wouldn't be a bad idea.

I just realized bytes were upped to 6 per post, it would only take me 383 posts to get the 2500 haha.

No, we have no idea yet. Xerotic said he will not likely release any information beforehand which sucks as crews won't have any time to prepare for anything. So whenever anythings released it'll be a bloody struggle in the beginning.

No, we have no idea yet. Xerotic said he will not likely release any information beforehand which sucks as crews won't have any time to prepare for anything. So whenever anythings released it'll be a bloody struggle in the beginning.

The entire point of a crew having a vault is that money can't be stolen?

I believe he said you'd only be able to steal from other crew members? Hopefully, I can save up enough bytes to join, I think crews are going to be pretty cool.

I'm assuming it's the opposite, any bytes in the vault are up for grabs/in "play" and any bytes that users have can not be stolen/used in the game/war/battle/activity

I believe you're right. I wasn't talking about the vault. Crews are going to be one of the best updates that will have taken place on HF.

I'm not sure.. That's a whole lot of bytes and many days of hard earned bytes that could just disappear like that? Would honestly suck for anyone.
