Rumor has it a competitive website has been compromised through an exploit. Such exploit may have exposed Hack Forums members who had an account on that website. As a precaution, the login session keys have been reset. This results in every single user being logged out of their account on all devices. Highly recommend reading Omniscient's posts for specifics. >>Source

Tricking Teens Into Making Healthy Food Choices
Many food researchers believe the most efficient way of getting young people to eat healthier is to trick them into it. Many groups have been working on ways of accomplishing this, but a report from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business finds that the effects of junk food marketing can be undone simply. To do this, they tapped into the rebellious nature of the adolescents. Once they took this approach, they reported that it took small amounts of effort to have lasting effects on their diets. According to researchers, “Food marketing is deliberately designed to create positive emotional associations with junk food, to connect it with feelings of happiness and fun.” >>Source
Reviving a Swine
Scientists from Yale have tapped into a topic that has been traditionally reserved for science fiction. Reversing some of the effects of death seems to be closer than ever. While being hooked up to a machine called BrainEX, the scientists were able to restore cellular activity in the brain of a deceased pig. In the process' current state, they are unsure how long they would be able to sustain this newly regained activity however things are seeming fairly eerie. This is not to say that they restored the pig's consciousness, just the base cellular activity. Certainly something we should all be keeping an eye on. >>Source
