I can't speak from experience, just an assumption because I don't know many teenagers. But I would assume not, the internet is not like it used to be. People who grew up in this age of social media likely do not prioritize privacy the same way I would.

Seems as though ease of access is prioritized over privacy judging by the popularity of so many platforms on the internet within the younger generations which are heavy on user-friendly, ease of access, but not so much privacy oriented.

I’d just use hf login but as new user the sign up with social media option does make me more likely to sign up on a site and be able to come

Depends on the site but I like the convenience of registering/logging in with my fb/google account. No I would never connect my fb to hf obviously.

Social media logins might be time savior, but they collect personal information, and for a site like HF, custom logins would be perfect. Since it's not that hard to gather Social accounts as people can purchase such accounts and could signup on HF with ease and then add more spam/useless profiles.

If the site/app offers “login with Facebook” , I almost always use that option.

If it simply become an alternative to the registration process, but the normal registration still exists for those who choose to use it, then I don't see any major down sides.

I don't think it's a feature that people should use, but if they want to, it's their decision to make.

I would personally never login through social media. If this were to be implemented I would probably make a social media account special for logging into the forums.
