The prehistoric humans who travelled to the deepest and darkest corners of caves to paint animals were probably introverted
Do you think introverts are a product of genetical and technological evolution? |

No but there are definetly more introverts because of technological evolution, there have always been geeks/introverts that are born that way or just dont see the use in bringing their academic results down because of friends or social contacts. and therefore they become introvert/antisocial. Technological evolution has made it easier for people to become introvert because they can be who they want online without leaving their room.

I think that most likely the number of introverts is about the same as it has always been. There have been issues with the youth not having the people skills you would expect, but that is a different topic. Overall, technology has provided a platform for introverts where there used to be none. Before, introverts were essentially forced to try to seem more extroverted. There have always been quiet people; nerds, bookworms, shy people, etc. Now they can stay in their caves and bubbles instead of having to communicate in person much more.

It seems there is little difference in IQ. Introverts tend to do better on verbal tests while extroverts tend to do better on performance tests. Overall, there seems to be no conclusive evidence that introverts are smarter than extroverts. Also, I never said introverts are weirdos, although I see why you may think that. A lot of scientific truths are counterintuitive. Sorry. (Jan 20, 2020 02:30 PM)Sly Cooper Wrote: Yes, let’s ignore the scientific research for hypothetical thinking and anecdotal evidence. Sorry. you didnt link out to any research, nor mention its name no matter how you look at it, introverts are smarter because they tend to be alone more, and if theyre alone often then even if they didnt want to - they will start learning something to kill their time

Are you saying introverts never existed before the internet? That's just an insane allegation.

Curse you, Bayle! I hereby vow! You will rue this day! Behold, a true Drake Warrior! And I, Igon! Your fear made flesh! Solid of scale you might be, foul dragon … But I will riddle with holes your rotten hide! With a hail of harpoons! With every last drop of my being!
