Same here, it's not only you.

HF Administrator 30th May 2020 - 14th July 2022. It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal. Peace out!

Convos and notifications aren't working so far. It usually happens when there's maintenance going on. I'm sure it'll be up and running in a couple of hours or so.

It probably will be fixed within the next 2-3 hours as soon as Xero or Omni would come online.
Just a suggestion - Since this issue comes up frequently, there should be a script for it in the UserCP which would work systemwide and can be authorized to V3ND0RS or maybe a specific user group or maybe trusted users like flavoral . I'm sure authorizing such a script would be dangerous and people would randomly click on it but if a few people confirm it not working then probably the button appears. Voting on the convo page which triggers the button after 10-20 thumbs up.

I like where you're going, but you're actually overthinking it. I assume the Node app is crashing- that there's no server issue per se. In which case, they need to set up a process manager like PM2 or forever. It's just a fact of life when putting Node applications in production. A tool like PM2, when setup, will monitor the process and relaunch it should it crash. No need for us users to get involved at all. And no need for Xerotic or Omni to manually restart the app unless it's unable to relaunch due to a recurring problem on boot. <Disease />
