“Convo connection icon status doesn't change not done“

Does this refer to the notifications updating? If not whenever you have a convo open and they send a message and you reply to it. It still shows as if there’s a new message.

I do have one suggestion. The online green icon seems grey for everyone until you send your first message. I'm not sure if this was as intended or not, but if so it might be a bug or missing feature.

I've been spending a lot of time today working on improving HF Convo (and Quick Convo): https://hackforums.net/convo.php

A couple of bugs addressed and being worked on:

• Quick Convo clickable links not done
  


• Convo connection icon status doesn't change not done
  


• Convo Inbox (left side), limit to 20 convos and include a load more option not done
  


• Convo Voice not done -> potential feature
  


• Convo messages out of order (usually links) fixed
  


• Export convo & connection icon visual glitch fixed
  


• Quick Convo duplication messages fixed
  


• Update desktop convo icon with unread message count & green highlight fixed
  


• /help command to view a list of Convo commands in the convo room added

• Convo mention that will alert the mentioned person by a different sound. Only if he's in the public Convo chat of course.
  


• Public Convo chat restrictions for those who spam, discuss disallowed topics, send nudes, etc. Restriction to send messages for a few hours or days depending on what they did.
  


• Disable sending Convos to yourself because it's bugged and weird. https://hackforums.net/convo.php?id=1827
  


• Disable any HF marketplace thread links because people often advertise their products and services there.
  


• Filter disallowed topic words (carding, phishing, etc.) with "Help Docs".
  


• Add a random bytes drop in Convo. It might be a good idea, everyone has a chance to get them once they send a message, like getting eggs functions, and if they're lucky Stanley sends a message "Member has been awarded X bytes."
  


• Add a reply to the message button. In my opinion, it would be very useful. When there are 10+ active people in Convo, you can't figure out who's talking to who.

Maybe it’s just me but while on mobile I find it very difficult who’s sent me a convo request.
I click on the notification and it always takes me to the public chat.

Would be nice when clicking on the notification while on mobile it takes you to who contacted you.

Using convo on pc is just more easy.

I'm not a tech expert, but keeping this simple makes chatting efficient. I personally don't wanna see a lot of added features resulting non-working of group chats.

While you're marking adjustments I suggest adding the HF logo above the conversations page. I don't like not being able to one click to go HF home.

when you accidentally click the convo chatbox and close it or have more than one convo it makes you go to the main convo section to view the chats again.

perhaps make the convo chatbox more viable and fix this/ possibly look into making it more practical.

Convo is improving in terms of speed, i didnt experience any disconnection this whole April..
