leaving a volatile btc in someone elses hands where you can't sell it to be apart of a crew with 1 other guy to MM a deal every few weeks for 1-3%? sounds like the worst investment ever, but good luck with it.

I was directed to this thread and wow, the notion of a middleman seems sound but everything seems so absurd to me in hindsight. For reference, I used to serve as one for many (...MANY) deals and the most I've handled was damn near the value of a midrange SUV. It's crazy.

Kind of seems pointless in having a group based around trust then doesn't it? if the leader isn't even valued at his provided deposit by the community.
