New flu strain with "pandemic potential" found in China.

A new flu strain with "pandemic potential" has been found in pigs in China.

What are the statistical odds of TWO pandemics starting in the same country and both occurring in less than one year?

I'm starting to think that maybe this isn't happening naturally.

i'm pretty sure all these things are done intentionally...

It takes literally hundreds of years for viruses to mutate to be able to infect different species.
If you took the population of China and subtracted the population of the United States, China would still have over a billion people.

They are just that heavily populated. Increased population density increases the chances of an epidemic.

That being said... I'd never rule out what any government is capable of. I would not be surprised if most major governments weren't experimenting with stuff like this in some capacity.

I am not a scientist, and biology is not my field, if i may ask, since you said it takes hundreds of years for a virus to mutate, does it mean corona virus has been in existence for hundreds of years?

Bats are natural carriers of Corona viruses.
So they are evolving together for a very long time.

It is just that some idiot had a VERY LUCKY bat-soup somewhere and that sunk the world now.

hmmm...so technically, all of these viruses have been existing in some kind of hosts for a very long time....so, why do we humans use our own hands to bring trouble to ourselves? by having some bat-soup or pig-soup 😭😭😭

Yeah we’re talking about an extremely over populated country that just recently took digs of list of farmable animals.
Trying to feed that many people is going to be hard to keep sanitary

You don’t even know what day it is, let alone what’s going on in the world, you space cadet.
Don't rule out the possibility of anti-Chinese propaganda, too.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!
