The user refused to use Shoppy to purchase my guide and asked me to make a contract manually.
He sent me a transaction that turned to be invalid and has been deleted few minutes after being created, but I had already provided him access to the guide.

DO NOT ACCEPT MANUAL PAYMENTS FROM HIM.

Just another one on the list.
Personally I'm not concerned about the loss I had to face. I know it was possible but I never faced a transaction that turned to be invalid, now I know how to deal with them.

yeah thats the positive from the experience. learn from it, move on, sorry for your loss Ombra.
Not even an exit scammer. He joined with the purpose of scamming. I'm guessing a multi.
Mate you see a 2 sat/B transaction. It's not SUPER OBVIOUS that you'll get a double spend?
(Fee 0.00000452 BTC
(2.009 sat/B - 0.502 sat/WU - 225 bytes)
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks."
SN, I'll hodl till the end.

I've been ingenuous. It's not uncommon for me to see transactions with low fees and have them confirmed at the end.
This time it went differently and I learned from it.

Should always wait until 1 confirmation before sending your product/service, thankfully this is a lesson learned.. imagine scamming $15 lmao.
Sorry about this mate. Try to be aware of the community alerts on the marketplace discussions , that could avoid this kind of stuff happening
