Earth2 - Virtual Land (5 Ways of Income + My Stats)!

Hello you all,

Some are already aware of this platform/game, some of you might not have heard anything about it.
To be short, it's a 1:1 virtual world of the Earth, but still under development. You are able to visit land/places, buy and (re)sell them. There is a leaderboard, a Marketplace and of course lots more.

This is not a financial investment advice thread. This is a thread about what I invested in and what I believe in to be solid.
Do your own research at the website / platform, before posting anything. Thank you.

My portfolio partially shown here;

You can see that I put in about $700 and got a ROI of $1800+ which is $1100 profit (value increased).

Make sure you READ about Earth2.io before posting here. Tired of kids claiming it's a Ponzi without doing any research. Thanks!
I will make a Q/A list here with important questions that might be asked on this thread.

Q: Can you buy any piece of land you want on Earth2?
A: No, you can't. Check here an example of me trying to buy a land that isn't for sale (yet);
https://gyazo.com/0cb9f57769911333a00bfdd858393c4b.gif

Q: How do you pay for your virtual land on Earth2?
A: With PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Discover.

Q: How do you make money with Earth2?
A: Here are 5 methods; https://earth2.io/how-to-make-money my main income now is increase of property value and Land Income Tax (LIT).

Do not ask me questions that you can find back on the website of Earth2.io
I will simply reply by referring you to the website and (re)read it. Thank you!
What are the benefits of owning land/property?

Basically; profits as in real life scenarios.

Detailed; the land already increased in value rapidly which I am able to sell already.
I do however wait for the platform to have released resources and/or ability to build or look/edit the bought properties.

But what is the benefit of someone else buying the property and land, instead of speculating on selling it to the next guy for more? Its just a ponzi. Take your profit before others dump.

Be careful, when I said that on op's other thread he got butthurt and -5'd me lol
This feels like something If I put in $1000.. I am going to wake up the next day and it will be worth $1. How is there even any value in this? The whole thing just seems like a giant scam. Can you do anything on it? Is this like the sims? Is it a game or is it just something you can buy a section on google earth and hopefully some retard comes and buys it off you haha.

I ask this in the most respectful way possible because I am genuinely curious but it just seems like a joke to me

It's not a Ponzi. The guy who sold Oculus VR to Facebook for a few Billion, is part of this team too.
You can already view the "VR world of Nintendo", so why would the Earth itself be different from the future?
You are clearly missing the big picture here. Nobody is dumping anything, nor have they done in the past.

My advice; do at least some research before posting your opinion and claiming it's a scam of any kind. Thanks kiddo.

You don't feel like that, you just assume the worst case scenario. Did Oculus VR go bankrupt? Nope, they sold for billions.
Did any of the team members fail in their previous stages of development, business or other "successful" traits? No.

If you are that serious about it, visit www.earth2.io and go do some reading.

You guys are literally assuming the worst without reading a word.
It reminds me of those who swore on their life that Bitcoin bubble would burst and we all would go bankrupt. Remember?
Don't miss the opportunity and if you do, be happy with the fact that you'll regret it later on. What's in it for me? Nothing.
I'm not familiar with Earth2.io and how you can liquidate your "land"... but I guess that someone else has to buy it.

What makes you think someone else is going to buy it later on when price goes even crazier? It has no fucking value, lmfao.

Good luck.

Neither did your account, I see.
Happy to see a fellow Earth 2 investor :)
I got a 150% "profit", I'll be holding till next year tho.
Hoping this blows <3
You seem to get pretty hostile when someone calls it a ponzi lmao

Thank you my man!
Do you mean the profile profit or the 'insights'?

Here are my stats for now;

I won't deny that it triggers me a lot, when someone claims anything is a Ponzi, fraud or scam without reasonable arguments and resources.
If the critics would read in and post after, I wouldn't mind discussing the safety issues of this (longterm) investment / game.

So far, I know Elon Musk is a big believer in us living in a simulation, the Oculus VR guy (sold for billions to FB) is part of this team and the thoughts behind this and the ideas for future development is amazing. Not even speaking about the already multiple times upgraded servers due to overload and the magnificent growth of the already investments most of the people did.

For example, the USA 'tile' started being around $20 a few days ago. Now at $36 with 3600% growth totally since start.
Italiy, Germany, UK, AU, etc., are all doing great. So I wonder if this is truly this big already and taking seriously by many investors and players, who is someone on HF to call it a Ponzi without backing up any of their suspicion thoughts regarding all this?
This is the second time I've seen this thing mentioned, but it looks interesting enough for me to check it out. Real money, right?
Hi.

My property value just increased to $923,291 in a day or so! Where can I sell this now. Doesn't seem like I have any buyers :(

Yikes. He asked (in a pretty docile and respectful manner, really) if there was some intrinsic value in owning assets, beyond just buying in the hopes that an asset will raise in value (reasonabe inquiry..?), and you shot him down with a bunch of Nintendo and Facebook anecdotes lmao. Even threw in a kiddo for additional cringe (':

Thanks Yell, you made him make it clear enough to avoid.
