Now how fibre gig, believe it is 1gb a second
What internet speeds do you have? I finally had a fiber line installed in my town. |

My internet sucks, I used to live in a big city before with awesome speeds, up to 1GB, now I'm at 30-50mb max... It sucks HARD

I would imaging you almost never have to worry about duffering, when watching stuff in HD (Even with many others on the same connection). That upload isn't that greatest, but it's not super terrible. Thankfully not. Yeah the upload speed is meh and especially frustrating when I use to make YouTube videos (Oct 19, 2021 01:15 PM)Juoku Wrote: My internet sucks, I used to live in a big city before with awesome speeds, up to 1GB, now I'm at 30-50mb max... (ATT) Are you connected via coax cable? Still would consider that useable internet for sure. I would be so pissed if I went from gb to mb lol. (Oct 19, 2021 03:35 PM)xPower Wrote: Are you connected via coax cable? Still would consider that useable internet for sure. Straight wifi. With cable its like 1-2mbps more. (Oct 19, 2021 03:26 PM)xPower Wrote: On the bright side it's probably a lot more peaceful to live there than the city. That's for sure, I literally can't go back to living in a big city, I love the peaceful vibe, the slow pace everything moves here instead of the fast pace in a city (Oct 19, 2021 03:26 PM)Pikzul Wrote: I have like a whopping shitty 7mbs. (ATT) I know the pain for sure. I'm not sure why an ISP decided to invest in a fiber line in my city, it's not even that dense here. I suppose they are just trying to gain market share. I got super lucky forsure. |
