Hello,

After new marketplace policy I feel bad to have L337 upgrade.

Even if I get UB3R upgrade, UB3R's will have no access to Premium Marketplace section.

Isn't it unfair to UB3R's at least (NOT if L337) ?

I think, it is time that one of the upgrade from L337 or UB3R should be removed.

Or,

My recommendation is keep marketplace as it was before but to become V3NDOR increase criteria or involve more processes to have that V3NDOR Batch.

Vendor is a market position. You must be approved to become a vendor, you can't just pay and get it.

Most people pay for upgrade to get market position. L337, UB3R or be any upgrades they want the tag to be perceived as reputated so buyers have more comfortable position when making final call for contracts.


Personally, I feel that 'MEMBERS SALES MARKET' have low traffic and LQ buyers traffic.

Allowing full market access or Removing L337 or UB3R is the perfect way to incentivize these 2 usergroups. For now, there is no benefit of UB3R or L337 (specifically to have a market position) .

Also, L337s are being bullied by having no rights to give negative rep to members. At least they should be allowed to give some neg rep.

Leet and Uber are irrelevant to Marketplace. They're upgrades to your account whereas Vendor is an addition to your account.

It's an important distinction in my opinion, and if that section was shared it feels like there would just be another market section somewhere else added, which isn't really needed due to how many sections there already are.

The seller perspective is different than buyers. I am opening this thread from a seller perspective.

How can one gain marketplace credibility when sales are going to be very low (specially when you are L337) in low traffic sections where buyers of LQ will meet.

The new marketplace changes prohibits LEE7 and UB3Rs from posting in premium marketplace section.

Again, one has nothing to do with the other. Leet and Uber are account upgrades and offers you more flexibility across the entire forum while Vendor is strictly for Marketplace and shows people you are more serious about the business you conduct here. It's just an additional group, not an upgrade to your account.

I think your suggestion is silly. Those member upgrades support this forum, removing one of these member upgrades will make the forum lose money. The Admin can or can't make it easier/harder for V3ndor as he chooses too, but removing a user upgrade does not seem like a smart move and you never provided examples of "criteria or involve more processes" aswell for the Admin to see.

No i dont agree, leet has advantage rather than normal one and not only market place, and i see current system is good, i need uber but dont think its fair for them to lose their cash

I do agree your point to support the forum. There are multiple ways that HF is getting optimized and more ways could be integrated.

New members with a good product will have no access to HQ traffic because of the restriction.

Again, if not for L337, it is definitely not good for UB3RS to have limited access of the marketplace.

For V3NDORS, the criteria could be :
- Must have X amount of successful contracts
- Must post educational tutorial with full images/ videos before applying (This will increase quality tutorials on forum and at the same time, it will showcase V3NDORS knowledge in their niche)

What about keeping both usergroup but allowing UB3R's to have Full marketplace access ?

Every new change requires you to have a new perspective.

PERSPECTIVE.

Think from the perspective of a seller. A new seller to HF.

You can upgrade to L337 on day 1.
But,
You need to meet certain criteria to become ub3r.

Restricting UB3R's to access certain marketplace is absurd. Totally unfair to them.

UB3R' were golden goose back in time. Tagged with medals and honor.

With passing time, UB3R usergroup / reputation have diminished.

The entire forum have changed BUT L337 remained same. NO ABILITY TO NEG REP.

L337 are one of the most bullied user group on HF.

So, again, here are my 2 suggestions:


1. Allow at least UB3R usergroup to access 'PREMIUM MARKETPLACE'
2. Allow L337 to give neg rep, even if it is -1.
