Anger Issues

Do you have anger and aggression issues, if so, how do you deal with them?
I've always had them but have never laid my hands on anyone or cause anyone harm other than to myself or my property. However, lately it's escalating. And it's the smallest inconveniences. The other night I did damage to some stuff in my house when it hit me. Nothing expensive of course, but it's bothering me. My last few months have been stressful for sure, and I just started a new job that I don't really like, plus I am working on an online side project a lot with no results yet, so that's probably the reason for these emotions.

My question is, how do you cope with it?

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) Mushroom Mycelium

AND

Magnesium (as Magnesium Oxide)

Both can be bought over the counter and both are extremely beneficial naturally for you.

You are %100 without a doubt in some way deficient in magnesium which - you know - not good if you desire a balanced mood - and Lion's Mane gives you the ability to rebuild neural pathways / control your emotions.

Lion's Mane will take a couple weeks to really see an effect while supplementing magnesium should be noticeable on day 1-2.

Take time to learn about these two things - maybe some Omega 3's while you're at it (EPA - Eicosapentaenoic Acid and DHA - Docosahexaenoic Acid) They are good for the brain and it's chemistry

EPA
- may have positive effects on mood and helps reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety

DHA (All beneficial things for anger because what I'm telling you is contributing to maintaining mental balance)
- may protect brain cells and reduces the risk of neurodegenerative diseases
- may supports cognitive health and improves memory and learning

When combined they are great for overall regulation of mood as a whole.

You're welcome

Please do your homework - it's highly encouraged as I'm just a black cat.

I know about the supplements and I use them, I even wrote a guide all by myself about it recently:
https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6278847

Curious why do you think Magnesium Oxide is the best, as it's one of the cheapest options available, and I have great results with glycinate.

I've read about Lion's Mane, particularly when I abused MDMA in the past and was looking for supplements to help my brain heal. Read a lot of positive things but some negative as well, I think there's even a subreddit about it's bad side-effects, some people reported not being able to go back to normal for weeks/months, and at that time during my abuse period, I didn't want to risk it. I'm restocking on supplements next month and I'll add LM shroom to it, along with NAC.

I think I'm just under a lot of pressure, a lot of it created by me. Juggling between a regular job, ~4 hours on online hustles, working out and eating clean, taking care of my dog, cleaning the house, trying to get a healthy amount of sleep and find time to hang-out with my closest ones.. It's diffucult :/
You need accountability. You cannot simply rage without consequences.

You're a man, so try act like one. :)

Frustration and upset is in everyone everyday life, you should drive your anger into gym gains. Imagine being a beast from your pains and upset.

These days I destress by working out till failure. Shit hits different when you're exhausted and in pain from that set. Far better feeling than punching holes into ur wall.

I'll admit that I have been neglecting my workouts and replaced the habit with a new hustle I'm working on, which I already said, yielded no results yet. That adds to my frustration. That and the new job I landed that is actually making me miserable, but I'll stay until xmas because they have an excellent bonus all employees get.

You might as well be ingesting poison.

The most you will see in your search while looking for a decent supplement ASIDE FROM THE MAGNESIUM (AS MAGNESIUM OXIDE) is

-Vegetable Cellulose (holds the ingredients together and controls the release of the active substances)
-Dicalcium Phosphate (binder and filler for the tablets / pill / etc.)
-Calcium Carbonate (good for bones - etc)
-Citric Acid (adjusts the pH of pharmaceutical formulations to improve stability and effectiveness)
-Medium chain Triglycerides (help with rapid absorption)
-Polydextrose (bulking agent / fiber)
-Vegetable Magnesium Stearate (basically prevents the tablets from sticking to the machines during manufacturing)

These are normal to see in a basic & clean magnesium supplement - As for the Lion's Mane - Look for the REgenerative Organic Certified USDA Organic NON-GMO

There should be only 1 other ingredient at most - Organic Pullulan (used to make vegetarian capsules as an alternative to traditional gelatin capsules)

I would say Magnesium Citrate but that's really just to help Vitamin D (3)? convert to it's active form.

Even though Oxide has a lower bioavailability - I believe personally the effects are much more noticeable. Obviously you know a thing or two about a thing or two - the dosage is important - but out of the oxide / citrate / glycinate / etc.

Citrate - D Vitamin convert
Glycinate - more so a laxative
Taurate - more for cardio health
Chloride - skin health etc.

But Oxide - Most noticeable effect on mood

I'll try adding some oxide to my glycinate which already works well, thanks.

Yeah man, I've been failing far much longer than you. I know the vybes.

No excuse to rage like that, it wastes time and XP.

True that 🤣🤣🤣

On another note, it's time to invest in a bong, dry herb vaporizer and edibles. I've found a great deal for 20x 65mg thc gummies for under $30, they're amazing! What I'm trying to say is, joints waste too much weed for me and are just not effective, I want to get the most out of it. Speaking on the topic of weed here cause it just brings good vibes.

I've been having kind of the same issue so i'm trying to control it as well. Been trying to mediate to try and not let intrusive thoughts get to me. Seems like you have a lot on your plate so reducing some stress might be a good idea as well.
Anger could both be good and bad, depends on how you use it.
IMO anger is a good tool which I use to further motivate myself, whether that be in the gym, boxing, cooking, studying etc.

Instead of sitting at home angry and moping, wasting time or overthinking about the stuff that made you angry.
Whatever it may be, I think you should be able to steer that feeling of anger in the right direction and use it as fuel to push yourself to do better in the daily stuff that you're trying to accomplish.

That way you get the best out of the worst.

UPDATE:
Forgot to add that I myself have the same issue where I can break stuff very spontaneously, boxing helped me with this in many ways.
In that way if you ever feel that you need to break something , you could always setup a punching bag at home if possible or start training at a local boxing club. Atleast that way you can destroy the punching bag and not your belongings.

I've always had them but have never laid my hands on anyone or cause anyone harm other than to myself or my property. However, lately it's escalating. And it's the smallest inconveniences. Based on your story, I assume that stress is to blame. If you are too stressed, your nerves are always on edge. If you want to examine them more closely, keep a journal, write down which situations make you angry and how you reacted. This can help you deal with them better in the future. This is especially helpful when you read this journal in peace in the evening in bed. I think you will have more access to your control. But don't forget that you have to write this journal from the heart.

I would also suggest bringing more relaxation into your routine. Even just a few minutes of your attention on conscious, focused breathing can do wonders. For me, for example, it helps to gain new strength and think more calmly and freshly.

Then next I would suggest you integrate more physical activity into your everyday life. This must definitely bring you to the point of exhaustion. Otherwise it won't work. This could be running, cycling or simply hitting the punching bag. Physical activity releases endorphins, which can improve mood and help you cope.

I eat a lot of zops (zopiclone, I think they’re called ambien in the states), as they stop abnormal brain behaviour along with diazepam, which are a bit harder to get these days, genuine ones anyways, although most benzo’s will work. Opioids are also CNS suppressants although I’m happy (lol), with the Zops and the occasional spoonful of kratom, that stuff acts on the same receptors that opium does. It’s illegal in the UK and quite a few other countries although there is Kratombird who ship just about anywhere. This stuff has helped me immensely and you can get different strains, the red stuff is more for sedation, the green stuff is more for feel good and is likened to diazepam, then you have white which is good for getting stuff done and actually boosts your brain power while making you feel awesome. And you have yellows, which I believe is white mixed with red? Not to sure on that one, I only have the green and red. May be worth a try, it’s supposed to be undetectable in your bloodstream and I don’t feel it’s addictive, I can have it one day then not the other. The only thing you have to be aware of is not to eat to much in one sitting as it’s powder. I did that once and woah I couldn’t shit for days, then when it came wow, I’m betting that thing could have easily gone in the Guiness book of world records, I’ve never been in so much pain it was like a tree lol and my arse has never been the same since. Anyway I digress, yeah Kratom is well worth a go it’s just a tree like weed and it’s really good at chilling you out if you chug and swallow some red, or making you feel real good inside after some of the green. Just a suggestion :D
I actually do have an anger problem, I inherit it from my dad. Growing up, I couldn't understand why my dad always seemed to get mad, and fly off the handle over every little thing.. but now that I'm older, I'm starting to find myself getting angry over the same things, in the same way he would! I've thankfully have learned how to handle my anger, and try my best to no lash out people.
