Learn how not to be stupid.
Best bet would be to take some sort of class on C++ or a popular coding language that would be specific to your goals, if you're trying to learn how to hack a video game or create a program. If you want to learn about website security and vulnerabilities you'll need to look into SQLi, XSS, XML / XXE, and SSTI.

Most of the information is available online if you look hard enough, and you're already in a really great spot where people share information all the time.

Best of luck,

Learn some HTML, JS, SQL, read up on the OSI model for structure on how everything communicates and works. Learn basic A+, CCNA, Security +, Windows, Linux and using terminal commands type stuff. Just dead basics, doesn’t have to be courses, a lot might be duhhh but you’ll learn stuff. I did that then started looking into SQLi, XSS, obfuscation to bypass WAFs, LFI/RFI, uploading shells with different methods, then just natural curiosity where you see something and say hmm I’m gonna see what this does... Biggest tip from me is be curious, observant and try things randomly. Fuzzing finds a lot of neat stuff or has for me at least. Lots of code generation/redemption exploits just by curiosity. A “Huh lemme change one number or letter and see what happens.” You’d be surprised at the super dumb shit from early days(2010 for me) that still work on large sites. Tools make it easier but I’m still doing everything manually for the most common vulnerabilities. Learn how stuff works then automate it and use tools.

Also use AI, it’s a huge benefit that wasn’t there back in the day and the people who say “It can’t even do my math homework” are dipshits who have no idea what they are even asking or how to ask it. MAKE SURE to learn as you go. Curiosity applies to all areas of exploiting whether it’s a site or a game and that’s what makes you grow. Always ask “How and/or why did this work? Why is this different than this for some reason?” If you don’t understand piece the puzzle together as you notice oddities, say bug abuse in OSRS. Learn the mechanics, ask questions, wonder, test, learn, and grow.
I know that you are forever my brother

No problem. Oh also you can try the standard learning sites with actual labs and realistic setups. Tryhackme, hackthissite, Hackthe box. Tryhackme is decent in structure and learning then applying. Only pain in the ass is sites like the first 2 want specific commands even though one thing might work it needs to be exact. Good thing too is you can look up the answers and importantly learning how a person did it. Don’t move on until you understand how the problem was solved unless you’re totally stumped. Just have fun with it.

It sucks I used to have a file of vuln sites I’ve hit and a guide on what I did from start to finish to help teach a friend. Lost all of it plus my risky old exploit screenshot folder. I think I got paranoid one day after doing a lot at once and destroyed it all…

Haha no problem. If you’re ever stuck or bored just switch up what you’re doing. Do some labs/missions on the sites I mentioned, as long as you’re doing something you’re getting better and you can get to where you want to be, especially if you’re young.

sure will🙏
I’ve been learning this stuff too and if I don’t know about the coding stuff but I do know you need to learn a lot about networking, social engineering, malware analysis, and exploitation. You can and should learn all the syntax but if you have a phone or laptop get different books. Personally I use Z-Library, download the EPUB, then transfer to Apple Books. Best of luck
