What's your Preference... Botnets , loaders and RATs

Curious to know what got you hooked with botnets and Ratting,

Are you still actively engaging with these activity's now

How did your first victory feel!
I never got into the IoT scene. In my youth I used to run very basic (and honestly embarrassing) HTTP nets like Dirt Jumper and WarBot.

I cant even wrap my head around how much things have changed. With IoT, there's so much aggregate bandwidth available, however the competition to gain a large network is huge. All the bot killing, ensuring your C2 infrastructure remains up, finding adequate hosting. I would feel like an old man, totally out of touch if I went that route. Idk.
I got banned from a minecraft server in '12 for an unjust reason, and I had to work hard to get my vengeance >:)

aaahhh to be a punk teen hacker without a care in the world again....
TooBuck bandors there was a time that I had tried it, never had the success back then but I bed nowadays I could probably pull it off with time and money rightt,

I bet the good ol days were golden for you both, Im still exploring, it's fresh to me,

Imagine a world without cloud flare. Kids buying $20 booters could actually fuck up big companies. It was a really funny time to be a punk teen hacker. Oh god, I remember Java Drive Bys being so much easier. Give someone a link, boom, you got all their cookies and can log into their stuff. It used to be so wild.
oh man, wish i was around the right crowd back then, times may have changed but i am willing to poke around till i figure out the direction imma take, back then i was just looking at other types of markets cant really say aloud
Nostalgia at its finest lol - mIRC cut my teeth here.

Pretending to be an adult as a brand new teenager - Moderating and eventually Administrating private servers.
That's probably the heaviest thing I hold that got me into the love of tech.

Sneaking out of bed to finish my dialog box for my socks5's to load into then sending a hail storm of input that resulted in the attacker simply unplugging before I had to type out the /kline.

Kinda like an old Yahoo chat flood bot but a bit more technical.

Man, how the times have changed.

Started with host booter 1.4. I uploaded Norton 360 cracked to the pirate bay with my uncrypted bot. I got like 110 active bots aall the time so like 700-1k total from it. After that I switched to an IRC botnet (my own Aspergillus mod) and I uploaded a cracked Photoshop on xmas eve of 2010. I woke up on xmas morning and I had 4k bots consistently online, by the end of the day I had 20-25k constantly online which is like a 200-400k net. Signed up for a PPD revshare Russian ad switcher (very discreet) and downloaded it to the whole net. Made $740k USD in a little over 3 months. I was fascinated by botnets ever since. They are just cool. Got raided 3 times for cyber stuff (including Darkode takedown), none of it ever stack, and 12 years later I still love botnets.

That's why I made a P2P botnet. Bored of losing whole nets.

Honestly, after I complete my SQL journey in the SQL injection attacks section I'm gonna jump into establishing a botnet, but still yet to learn a deeper knowledge before jumping in,

The trick is to keep it native no .NET etc, Small stub, decent crypter that just crypts no fancy features. Bulletproof domains and hosting.

I didn't create a malicious one, but I have created a closed net of discrete computers that are able to complete tasks I assign based on computers around the country.

I have field PCs, and have basically made a tool that says you are to do this bit of discrete work. Whatever that may be, if it is tangible I can have it done.
