I bought 12 months of Adobe from Moe in April.
Had several access issues in May, needed manual intervention from him in June; by September had no working access and learned it had already been down for months prior. I don’t use Adobe much, but when I needed it, I liked having it and I kept having to chase him to get it working.
When Adobe stopped working entirely, he offered a $20 refund or $30 store credit from my original $35 Adobe payment, saying he was deducting his $15 supplier cost from the refund. I accepted Spotify Duo, to give to a friend for free, using the credit and specifically asked about restrictions before agreeing. He said he’d change the account’s region and nothing should change with music availability. He priced Spotify Duo for 12 months at $50, so with the $30 credit I would owe another $20. Only after I agreed and he’d started setting it up did he tell me the "12 months" required coordinating with him and my friend every 3 months to renew it. I immediately explained that avoiding that hassle was why I wanted a year. When I complained about the renewal requirement, he waived the extra $20 he’d asked me to pay. I thanked him and went ahead with it despite the renewal hassle.
My friend never got it working. I sent him screenshots of the blocks due to being in a different region. He promised to check, then went over two weeks without responding despite follow-ups. When he finally replied, he said she needed a VPN and pointed back to an announcement he’d forwarded into our chat on September 8, before I asked about restrictions, saying "we also recommend a VPN to not get a revoke". That is not the same as clearly telling me it was required when I directly asked about restrictions.
I wasn’t blaming him for Adobe or Spotify changing policies but he kept going on this irrelevant tangent about how great he is and his reputation and other crap nobody asked about. I was complaining about unreliable access, conditions disclosed after I’d agreed, and repeatedly chasing support. He initially offered another replacement using store credit or a reduced refund of about $15, saying he’d now paid for two services. I objected because my friend had never been able to use the Spotify replacement. He eventually agreed to refund $20. I received $18 after fees, with the remaining $2 offered separately through another crypto. When I explained why the experience had been frustrating, his responses included "No way you typed all that," "Please stop bugging out," and calling me a "negative mofo" (which to his point yeah I was negative with my very last message.. sue me). After my post on his thread, he changed his rep to a -rep. Lol.
TL;DR: Paid for 12 months of Adobe, repeatedly lost access until I permanently lost access, accepted store credit toward Spotify for a friend after Adobe stopped working entirely. I specifically asked about restrictions, was told there were none, but only learned about the three-month renewals (restriction 1; not one year) after setup had started. I accepted that hassle after he waived the extra $20; I was still not clearly told a VPN (another restriction) was required. My friend never got it working, and his promised follow-up took over two weeks. Eventually received $18 of an agreed $20 refund. His supplier cost wasn’t the refund calculation in our contract - unused time was. And accepting a replacement doesn’t erase what he represented that replacement to be.
The contract terms were: “1 year of Adobe Creative Cloud upgrade on my account + warranty. Refund for unused time if removed and no replacement available.”

I’m not claiming you refused to pay that $2. I also acknowledge my last Arabic remark was hostile.
Neither point explains away the service complaints I raised before the refund.
The contract said: "1 year of Adobe Creative Cloud upgrade on my account + warranty. Refund for unused time if removed and no replacement available."
When you offered $20, your explanation was that you were deducting your $15 supplier cost, not calculating unused time.
That distinction is documented in our chat.
Spotify was an agreed replacement using my Adobe credit, not an unrelated free gift.
You priced it at $50 (not $55 as you mention in your post) , applied $30 credit, and initially asked for another $20. You waived that difference after explaining, during setup, that the year required renewals every three months.
But before proceeding, I had specifically asked: "Does it come with any restrictions or limitations?"
You didn’t tell me a VPN would be required to use it. The forwarded announcement said you recommended a VPN “to not get a revoke.” My friend’s ability to operate a VPN doesn’t answer why that requirement wasn’t clearly explained when I asked. It also never worked.
When I reported the problem, you said on September 18 that you would check and respond later that day. Your next response was October 5, despite multiple follow-ups. These complaints existed well before the $2 refund difference.
Yes, I accepted the eventual partial refund. Readers can take that into account. But describing this as me receiving “two products” and then attacking you over $2 leaves out the failed Adobe access, the replacement we never got working, and the weeks spent chasing non-existent support.
Edit: Lol. I also just saw by the time it confirmed it was even less:

I am going to post this here so people understand, I changed my +rep because this user cursed me in Arabic. Not "swearing or flaming", he literally did a "curse" (as in Arabic we have words for black magic nonsense), I don't care that he did it but the fact that he said it over $2 was wild for me.
Also because he is only posting text and not screenshots, I can easily show that this user is tripping.
He had $20 refund from $35, got a $55 product without paying difference, still was given a $20 refund after received 2 products, so the original contract was fulfilled (if no service he would get refund minus time used), which he did + extra spotify service that is working for everyone but his friend who doesn't know how to use a vpn.
In the end, my opinion the user got his refund (which is what the contract stated has to happen), he got the service until it went down, and he got an extra spotify service that he claims he can't use. Screenshots from my side below...since he did all of this over $2 not $20 , which I offered to give but he declined and chose to rant / attack me. Always two sides to a story...and his side is trash.
But yeah it is not my fault his friend doesn't know how to use a vpn, that was for the second service that he chose, and that he also got for $35 off. So to even still complain after receiving the original $20 refund + 2 services and curse me was unnecessary. User was a customer of mine for 2+ years, but as soon as a service had an issue he switched up. You can see he was talking about the flawless service and that it was working in past great. But he renewed his 3rd year but the service dropped in July, I gave refunds to everyone. This user got his refund, he is just trying to bash because he didn't get $2....which I offered for him before his words.
