In this scenario where it's 24 hours no electric and I don't have a generator. I think I would focus on cleaning out the garage, and getting more boxes moved to storage. Work on the yard a bit. It would be nice to not be distracted by electronics for a day.

Yeah that was one of my mentioned possibilities too. If I had cleaning and such to get done that I had been putting off, I'd utilize that downtime to knock it out.

In my area, it's common not to have power during bad weather etc, and every time I make the realization of how important electricity is and how we take it for granted. During a crisis/war, if a blackout happens, we're all cooked xD

Whenever I lose power I tend to just go for a walk or be able to clean up the house a bit more and do the chores that I probably should have had done already but pushed to the side.

If we are talking long term, I would probably become much better at soldering since I find it relaxing and also requires some skill.
