Sup AA, it's time for our weekly poll, for this one you will be choosing your favorite version of stories, in either Anime or Manga form!
Last week's poll results:
There was no poll last week! However, Black Hole did give the AA Weekly poll creation position to both me and sp3ctr3 last week!
This week's poll: Manga vs Anime!
This week you will be voting for either Manga or Anime. Now this ISN'T all manga vs all anime, it's for when you've seen an anime version of a story and read the manga version; Here is where you choose which you enjoyed more. Basically, this is only for Anime which have a manga adaption, and you should be voting based off your experience with watching shows and reading the manga counterpart.
Anime
Generally, anime is based off manga. It normally has a shorter plot, but the entire show is animated, in full color, and dubbed with voice actors.
Manga
The original story for most anime can be found in the form of manga. Although not animated, or in color, manga does tend to have a longer story, and you can control how fast or slow you read it.
Feel free to leave a comment as to why you picked what you picked. This is not a debate thread. Poll is public and single choice only. Poll will close in 5 days.
Know a good poll topic? PM me or PM Sp3ctr3 and your topic may be the next AA poll!
My personal preference, would have to be both.
Manga, if it has a GOOD storyline. Ex: Death Note, Blood+.
Anime, if you want more of a different (its hard to put it) i could say feeling?
Manga usually has the better storyline, whilest the anime is more of a condensed version.
It all depends on the plot, and such.
Yea, I would go with both. Most of the time I read manga to find anime's to watch. Or while watching the anime, I read the manga to cheat cause i'm impatient.
I prefer the anime for multiple reason. First of all, a video is always nicer than pictures. It got colors and animation. It's also easier to understand. Also, the soundtrack is something really important that can play with your emotion and make you react more to the plot. But not only the soundtrack, but also the voice actors or any sound effect.
However, I hate when they add fillers to the anime or they censor parts for "young audience".
Anime. I've always hated reading unless it really interests me. But when it comes to anime I'd rather see the actions in real time rather than reading it.
Manga. Tells more of the story and is easier to use. Anime is good, but tells less and is a bit harder to get.

That all depends really, I've seen anime's tell the story better than the Manga. Its just finding an anime that follows the manga, Thats difficult.
I am voting for Anime.
I like Manga too
~ven0m
Manga for sure.
Most of the time, Anime is filled with plot hole, filler, and terrible voice actors (usually dub only)
There are some Animes that are good, but few are as good or better then the manga.
Heres a list of some comparisons in my opinion.
Naruto: Manga > Anime
Bleach: Manga > Anime (awful voice actors...)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Manga > Anime
FMA Brotherhood: Anime < Manga
Code Geass: Manga < Anime
Trigun: Manga > Anime (Anime still amazing though)
Hellsing: Manga > Anime (Anime was still amazing though)
Pandora Hearts: Manga > Anime
Get Backers: Manga > Anime
07 Ghosts: Manga > Anime
Cowboy Bebop: Manga < Anime (First anime ever... Great dub)
Samurai Champloo: Manga < Anime (even good dubbed)
Black Butler: Manga > Anime (didnt finish manga... but looks better than tranny angles)
All I can think of at the moment, But you get the picture.
I always prefer books over a screen but not when it comes to anime.
Just don't have the nerves to read anymore, maybe I overdid it in the past.
It's just easier when you can see something happening even gets easier dubbed, unless it's a horrible dub.

Manga, if it has a GOOD storyline. Ex: Eureka 7
Anime, if you want more of a different (its hard to put it) i could say feeling?

Your fcking kidding me right? I agree with manga being better, but seriously your using E7 as a example? The manga was absolutely terrible in comparison to the anime.
No hurt feelings I still love you <3

Awwww, you didn't like the manga? I must be weird then :S
I love you too! :3
I prefer anime. I prefer reading Naruto over watching it, but that's about.
I can't even think of a specific reason as to why I prefer anime, as I enjoy reading (not just manga)...
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I prefer manga, when I do read as book, it's alot better, has a better feeling, and is not ruined, like some anime's.
Though, I like some anime's better than manga, but my vote will still go for manga :)

Well the anime was about love and rainbows and Bones went ahead and shit on that by making the manga end. The manga in my opinion was even worse then the movie.
At least we get long hair Eureka in the movie, in the manga we get a lame Gurren lagann Nia type ending and a paralyzed Anemone.
