General Introduction:

Be sure to read the entire post, this will explain most of the information that is required to know, so don't skim it, actually read it or you will regret it later on.

Welcome to The Empire Recruitment thread! The Empire is once again recruiting, looking for new members to join the most active and one of the oldest groups on Hackforums. Members who were kicked or declined in the past recruitment are welcome to apply again. To elaborate on our other recruitment threads, we want to know more about you as a person. With that said, creating a video or voice application is required this time around. Though we do accept software, website, or graphic applications, however no plain text applications will be accepted at this time.

Members can nominate applicants for further review for the group, but even so, if you'd like to be one of the members to make it into the group, be positive that your application is full of effort and thought.

The last Recruitment Thread can be located here.

- State your first name and username, then your religion (if you have one) and age.
- State why you want to be in The Empire.
- Tell a little bit about yourself personally and what's important to you, anything that has heavily impacted your life.
- Tell us about how you found HF and what you mainly do / have done here.
- State anything else you want to say and finish with why you believe you should be added.
- The goal is 3-5 minutes, but no longer than 5 minutes please. Once finished just post a link to your application and any notes you wish to add in this thread.

Good luck to all that apply, this round of recruitment will only last for a short time.

Adam's Quick Tips:

I will repeat what Tibit and other Empire members have stated.

If you truly want into the Empire, prove it to us.
Show us that you DESERVE to be in the group.
I can promise you that you will appreciate the group if you are accepted.

Just some tips if you want your application to stand out:

Make your application unique.
Make it lengthy, but be sure for it to hold it's quality.
Use your personal skills to make the application: GFX, Gaming, Coding, etc. Show your specialty.
Be sure to use a set format, colors, themes, etc. Organized = good/ attention catching.

Show that you want in.
Again, the length can have something to do with the result of your conclusion, but ONLY if it holds quality from beginning to start.
Do a top 10 reasons why you want in, make a video application along with the required application.
Do far more than the required application asks for. Again, show us that you want to be a member of the Empire.

Good luck to those who apply. Be sure to read the thread before applying. We only expect to add about 10 members from this recruitment and don't expect to recruit again until the Fall.

[joneh heil]

Wow. I haven't seen much of this group. GL To everyone!

[Zapu]

Good luck to everyone, was a great group for me to be in.

[Dorrance]

Wow I have been waiting for this recruitment but can not do a video.

[The l33t hax0r]

May I ask why you care about the applicants religion?

Why does that even matter?

[Tibit]

Wow I have been waiting for this recruitment but can not do a video.

Video, voice, graphics, code a site or program, etc. Those are the formats we're doing for this recruitment thread, tired of boring long drawn out text applications, we want to see something different and only want a small number of recruits.

[iDuL]

If you can't do a video just do a vocaroo application.
That's what I might do.

[Troye]

Good luck to all applicants. I am a newbie noob to The Empire and I've loved every minute in it. I can't wait to see some videos.

[Evangelist]

May I ask why you care about the applicants religion?

Why does that even matter?

We are a group that enjoys having debates, think of The Empire as a debating group. Though we enjoy the massively high activity of lounges.

This is very original to bad I got none of the skills listed above :P. Good luck with the apps this group is HQ.

[Tenaxium]

Doubt you will get more then 15 applications based on the requirements, I never said this is a bad thing. 15 high quality applications.
