PasswordSaver (First Beginner Project)

This is my first attempt at doing something with Visual Basic (Don't be harsh) I am willing to learn more as time comes by. I did this project just for fun and to test out different things I could do. So as you imagine this program wont be that great, but I had fun making it :)

1. First thing I made was a simple login, just for fun: Username:Password

2. After logging in the UI shows up with "Add new Account" and "Delete Account".

3. By pressing "Add new Account", a new form pops up, requesting to add new account.

4. This is what it should look like when you have added an account.

I would like to give credits to Aeonhack for his amazing Net Seal Theme, which can be found here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3409684

I will put a virus scan just in case some people wont rust me. (I don't even know how to put viruses in programs)
Antivirus scan

Download From MediaFire

*Note: I know this program is not good at all and has no big use.

Why did you make a password saver if you can just save it on the notepad?
-I just wanted to have fun, then share my work with the more expert people on hackforms and learn from mistakes.

Since some people were sketchy about my account being "not trusted" I decided to take the screenshot of my project.

No need to harsh people, just keep up good luck for you.
No offense, but a password storer from a user with less than 50 posts, 0 rep, who isn't a Ub3r, or L33t won't get much attention.

If anyone chooses to use this, be careful!

If you want I can post the source code somewhere?

I made this program for myself just to store a list of accounts into a notepad on the desktop.
I will update the thread with screenshots of the code. :)
OP you should use the [code] tag to post your code in so people can review and vouch it that's what I would do anyway
Why does it come with a setup instead as single executable?

I don't know how to correctly publish it as an exe. So what I did is i went to Build > Publish
And gave me those 3 files.
Do you know how to change it?

How can you not know how to compile?

Also this is useless, Saving unencrypted passwords on your PC is a terrible idea.

Its just for no, I'm not forcing anyone to use it I just felt like sharing something I made for myself. That is it, if you have any suggestions please share them.

Encrypt the passwords, Even a simple Base64 encryption would be better than plain text.

After saving when you re open the file, the Password info are still there?
I'd seen one like this before but after I open it again, the password isn't save.

First use something like this : http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/...crypt-text

Then just have your app reload / decrypt the text file on statup and re add the entries.
You never learn anything by doing it right.
So the passwords are saved as an unencrypted textfile on your dekstop?
It's good you're learning but it's quite pointless releasing it.
Still though, keep expanding your knowledg e:)

Thanks for your post. I initially made this program for myself and just to start learning some vb :)
