Now it's time for me to address the community as a whole. I have a few things that disappoint me, but I do have some positives that I've seen. The community has gone downhill since I've joined and it disappoints me. I see too many members that get taken advantage of by people. I see people intentionally try to mislead them in the marketplace and I see them completely flip shit in the appraisal section cussing them out over the value of an item. People seem like they are more self-centered now than ever. I often feel like I'm repeating high school dealing with people sometimes. It seems like a giant popularity contest at times and I often get bored of trying to deal with people. I've noticed a lot of members leave Hack Forums recently and I blame the community. Stop putting up fronts and be open and accepting of others, the whole e-thug game is annoying.

One thing I do not like about the Hack Forums community is the median age of the members. This is not confirmed, but I often feel that the members are all 15 years old. I notice a lot of different cliques and being an older member do not fit in. I think this is why a majority of the 2011 members ended up leaving because they all grew up and the next wave of kids took over. People may not see it my way, but that's how I honestly feel. I don't want to resort back to high school tactics in order to gain popularity on this site, it's just not in me.

Omniscient— Not much has changed with my view on you. Seem like a pretty busy dude, but we've had the occasional good conversations. I can't really critique anything right now.
Xch4ng3— I'm not sure what you do on site. I've never come across you.
Factor8™— Keep out accounts safe. I haven't really seen you that much around the forum. I've reported how many multis to you, a simple "done" or something would be nice so I know that I'm not false reporting. It's the little things.
Judge Dredd— I was weary about you getting staff again, but I think it was for the better. You keep people under control with an iron fist.
Viral Dragon— I don't agree with you as a staff member. During you probational period I saw you do some dumb stuff. You seem to have calmed down since.
Paradoxum— Favorite staff member. Parabot you always do a good job at what you do and keep the forum safe.
RDCA— You deserved staff a long time ago. You do a good job. One member that I look up to, very knowledgeable.

One thing I wish I knew about staff was their roles on Hack Forums. I ran across this problem once when reporting a multi. I don't remember the 3 staff members involved, but here's what happened. I PM'd a staff member (probational at the time) with reports of a multiple accounter. They told me that I should report it to another staff member because they were not in charge of multiple accounts. I proceeded to message the other staff member who told me a similar answer and I was redirected to an admin. I then PM'd the admin who took over a week to read my private message and failed to respond or take action on my report. I was pretty pissed at how much time I had wasted.

I figured I'd try to address the groups of Hack Forums as a whole, but all my different views on them this criticism doesn't apply to everyone. When looking at members specifically I feel that there is a core group on 150 members that occupy the majority of group spots. This is the clique I was referring to in the community feedback. Sometimes they are called userbar whores, but for the most part they are left alone. I don't get why people would kiss ass and stoop to that level for a userbar, but it's childish. I went from somebody who received 2-3 PMs per day to 30+ per day when I was leader of The Empire. Why these kids seek forum fame makes me shake my head. I don't like what groups have become, they aren't what I expect them to be. I recall groups back in the day giving members a fair shot no matter who it was. Groups accepting buy-ins over $20 were considered to be crazy at the time. All groups held recruitments, they were not a private clubhouse for the owner and his/her friends. As for owners I get that you paid $8,000+ to buy a group for whatever reason, but $100 buy-ins and $2,000 lead positions seem absolutely ridiculous to me. What can you possibly offer someone outside of forum recognition with a leader spot?

- I seldom see members in this group. I feel this is one of the rare exceptions where a buy in to this group actually gives you some knowledge. I saw a thread where it was a $200 per head fee, but knowing how Vinnie runs stuff I can only assume that the members of the group actually know their shit and are not out to show off a rare userbar.

- A successful group run by Astonish? Don't make me laugh. I feel back for all the members that are suckered into this scam and wear this userbar. It's just a way for Astonish to put $1,000 in his pocket before re-branding the group and finding a new wave of suckers. What group of "select individuals" has $50 buy-ins? This group will never be sold and will be changed in the near future. I dislike this group highly and don't get their purpose on the forum.

- You're the first real marketing group to come on the groups.php page so don't take anything personal. Bull and Grim are active in the marketplace and decided to make some sort of marketing group. I get the fact that you want to promote yourselves being group owners to generate more business, I just wish you came up with a different concept. I see too many marketing groups and wish they were all gone. For the members that are here for the forum aspect all of these groups are a waste of space. I personally have no shot at most groups so I don't mind speaking my mind, but it seems all you do is put a userbar on your friends profiles. Will it be sold within 1 year? My guess is no.

- I've never heard good things about this group until Vinnie stepped in. From what I've heard it was inactive and disorganized, but has since changed. Glad there is actually a hacking group on Hack Forums. I am not sure what's going on with recent scam reports from Anonymous, but it brings a lot of negative attention to the group. I personally wouldn't join due to the owner's recent scam reports.

- I'll be the one to say it, the fact that you're riding off of success from 2011 makes me sick. The fact that the owner's inactivity adds to the exclusivity of the group makes me sick. I get that you did some good stuff back in 2011, but the fact that a core group of members are riding off of previous successes that many had no part in makes me shake my head. I don't get why you keep this group in hibernation Glassy, but it reflects badly upon you. Makes me think you're lazy. I've heard rumors of you accepting cash for spots, haven't looked into it much, but that's sad if it's true.

- Honestly the most crazy group I've ever been in. If you want to have a good time then buy-in, it's a wild time in this sub forum. Vinnie is a good dude and all ass kissing aside he runs the group relaxed and free. Almost anything goes provided you do not miss the check-ins that happen once every 2 or so months. I seldom post, I can't handle the randomness and keep up with all of the inside jokes that go on. All I really have to say is baby sloth squeak, Package gives good head.

- It appears that the group is being sold, if this actually goes through I won't be that surprised. It reminded me of Haunter Gang, but less of a cluster fuck and done better. It seemed like a group to put a userbar on their friends profiles. I have nothing against syrah or Maximum, but I didn't have high expectations for this group. There are too many marketing groups for one to be successful on Hack Forums, none will live up to the old Illuminati that BELLAGIO once ran.

- Look at Legion if you want an insight to how I feel about this group's owner. Keep the same concept that BELLAGIO had was not an option, it was once ran so well. I don't like that it's $100 per month to be in this group, please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't get what a group could possibly offer someone for $100 a month other than attention wearing the userbar. I don't think that there needs to be this many marketing groups on Hack Forums and I will emphasize it on every group that relates to marketing that I provide my feedback on.

- For a group that is buy-in only I actually approve of this one. I get that you paid $8,000+ and need to make your money back somehow. The main reason I like this group is that they actually give back. You hold the best contests out of every group on Hack Forums, the bot can be a pain in the ass, but at least you give back. I myself almost joined, but cannot justify spending $100 on pixels that are on my profile when I no longer have much of an attachment to the community and care what they think. Keep doing what you're doing, it seems like it works for you and the members of the group who payed to play seem happy. Only thing I don't like was the mysteriousness that was put off during the early days of the group. Just tell people why you're here and get it over with. I don't like it when people come off as mysterious, I interpret it as not having a plan.

- If I were to create a group I would have used this exact same concept. I started a group on another site called "Cinema" and it was a lot of fun while I was an owner. I like what the group is and that it actually does movie reviews for a certain section, but I am skeptical of how long the owner will keep this concept. One thing that I do not like about this group is the "in crowd factor". When I see this group I see the same people as in other groups, I feel there are some politics going on and friends are accepted over people who actually busted their ass on an application. With two recent recruitments I wonder the turn over rate inside of the group, just curious. I like the concept and would enjoy the discussions, but posting reviews publicly would be annoying depending on the interval between the reviews. Good luck, I like the general idea and support the concept.
- I despise the SRPP section so I will try not to hold any prejudice against this group. I respect that all Nexus members were kept in the group after paying to play, respect to you. I want to know how well those members adapted to the new concept though. It seems to be a laid back group to me, but another group where if you're not in the "in crowd" then you'd be seen as an outsider.

- Seems interesting, but the fact that you are playing the mysterious card really pisses me off. I don't get why you are trying to recruit and at the same time telling people how they need to wait to see how the group will be run since it's going to be so different. I had to bust chops, but running a group isn't that revolutionary. Interested to see what comes out of this group and it does interest me, but stop playing a mysterious card. You're still too new to really give judgement, but that's how you come off in my eyes.

- I think Tibit is a good dude, but since he's too busy to run The Empire, why is he a part of this group. One thing that immediately stands out to me about this group is keeping the hearts that 143 used. I get that you bought the group and want to keep their concept, but using their stuff to keep their prestige makes me shake my head. I never see anything from this group and wonder what you really have to offer the forum, why have a group that is worth $8,000 if you don't really do anything with it? I see this group as a tight group of friends who come from different backgrounds and are open about their sexuality / experiences. Innuendo is a niche section, just makes me wonder what you can really offer people, I've seen the innuendo section, most of the stuff can be found of Google and most of it is trolls. Just my two cents because I feel the group is really quiet and keeps a low member count.

[Image: seinG6R.png] - I had to scroll in on my screen to figure out what this userbar was. You had so many good options and I don't get why you went with this one after putting 6 up to a vote, whatever. Nothing against you Realizm, but you seem fresh. Hopefully iHydra can step up to the plate and help you out on this one. I don't like how you're also playing this mysterious card... Nice description " - .. - .- -. ... "! You can have a group and just accept your buddies, but why promote yourself through an odd recruitment and failure to give any real information about what this group's purpose is. It looks like a gaming group in all honesty, when's the rivalry between Instinct going to start? If you are indeed a gaming group toeing against the force known as Instinct is not a wise idea. Knowing nothing about you I am forced to make a few assumptions. I honestly think you might change the concept, but might shuffle leaders and keep ownership of the group for some time. I wish you the best of luck, but do not leave people in the dark, it makes us think that you do not have a plan. Also clean up your threads, they look like crap. Required to have an HF account to join the group? No shit.

- I've had both good and bad times in this group. The first time I joined was during the Brotherhood Spy Squad, was the most fun I've ever had in a group. Sadly that was shut down and I was left with nowhere to go. I was never put into a new section and just remained in the group. I decided to leave because I felt that I was misrepresenting the userbar and just taking up space. The second time was more recent though... I was accepting into the gaming sector and was a good time for the first 2 weeks. I soon realized that the gaming sector was too small to exist (in my opinion). There were less than 10 PS3 players and nobody interacted with each other. I thought the group rules were kind of dumb, I don't want to be forced to post 2 gaming threads per week and maintain 7 posts per week. I'm a casual gamer looking for people to play with, I don't want to discuss frame loss and graphics on different consoles. When the section start being changed I left. I didn't like the cluster fuck that occurred and the fact that nothing was ever clearly explained. I was lost so I said fuck it, I'm out.

- By popular request I will give my review of the writ3rs. Even before I was a part of the group I always loved reading the Hack Forum's news. I think the work that every member submits is pretty top notch and informative. I did not really agree with the expansion of the News team, resulting the delay (I believe). I like that you want to expand Sir, but don't bite off more than you can chew, at the end of the day you still have a life outside of this site, but you have accepted a huge responsibility on here. I really can't say I'd improve the news with anything, I like the current format it uses, I just wish more people would actually read it. As for the sub forum goes it's not what I expected. I feel that there's a lot of inside jokes and from an outsider looking in I don't bother with it. I notice this with a few writers, a lot don't post inside of the lounge due to the nature of others conversations. Other than that I feel it's a well oiled machine.

I rarely venture outside of a select few sections, but I will provide you some feedback and things I notice about certain sections. Some will be positive and others will be negative.

Appraisals and Pricing: This is the section that I am most active in. If this section was removed I would be at a loss of what to do on this site. In my time I've racked over 5,000 posts in this section. This section often frustrates me though, there are so many idiots who provide misleading appraisals. I wish that it was somewhat locked down because I see people trying to lowball kids for their items. I wish people would stop trying to promote sales in this section by appraising their items that are listed and asking people to offer on them in the thread. I wish the section moderator was more active in the section, it seems the position has gone to waste if you're not going to be active there. I like the fact that I've become a go to person for appraisals and featured in the official appraisers in the stickied thread. I like that people trust me enough to appraise their items, I just wish that people would stop being stupid though. I see so much flame when people appraise something that's obviously worthless, sometimes I partake so I can't be that harsh, but we all need to show a little respect and help educate people rather than telling them that you'd have to pay me to have that item.

Lounge: The VHF kids need to get a life, I'll start off by throwing that out. I really can't critique that much because anything can go here and the randomness makes it fun. I don't like the amount of trolling attempts, but what are you going to do. The section is good, I wish there were topics that actually appealed to me.

Vices: This is my second most hated section on the whole forum and I still shake my head that it was added. I'm glad that all the drug threads were taken out of the lounge, but on a forum where the median age appears to be 15 why let them discuss drugs? I see people talking out of their asses and bragging about the amount free based weed they inject daily, but it's satisfying seeing people put them in their place. The high school idiots need to stop and I wish that the section as a whole stepped up a level or two on the maturity scale. I've seen some good grows and they can be helpful, but I don't think that this section has anything to do on a hacking forum, even it most of the members are here for general conversation.

Innuendo: I originally wrote a great response and accidentally closed my tab and lost it so here's the redo version on my opinion of the innuendo section. I am not really a fan of this section due to the stupidity of most members. Most of the threads that are posted can be solved by using Google, common sense, or by gaining self confidence. I don't care if you like this girl in your math class, but you're too afraid to ask her out. The majority of stuff I see are worthless trolls. I don't think the audience is mature enough to handle an innuendo section without member requirements. I'm also sick of the rate my GF threads, it just shows you're insecure with the others looks (most of the time), if someone was rating me on a forum I'd break up with them.

Rules, Announcements, News, and Feedback Try harder kids, let the mentors do their job here, unless it's a feedback thread.

Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics: By far the worst section on the site and I hate the fact that it exists. I am glad that members now have to be l33t in order to post, but I see so much nerd rage. Nobody will ever prove on belief right, it's not going to happen. Why even bother debate when the other person's mind is so one direction that they refuse to answer a question and counter that question with a question. So much bullshit is posted here, I avoid the section, it's cancer.

Bragging Rights: Everything on the internet must be real. I'm sick of all the fakers in this section, but what are you going to do? Just wish people would post their own stuff on not their parents.

You've hit the nail on the head here imo.

I feel like mentioning stuff about myself takes away from the purpose of feedback threads, they actually need feedback. That's why I ended up leaving my story in a spoiler and very brief.

One thing I did not do was address the use of the word quality in the community section. I might add it in later.

I actually really liked your group feedback, and while I'm one of those who still support Red Lions, what you said is actually true.
However, let me clear up to misconceptions you have about Titans:
1) It is not a gaming group.
2) He does not only accept friends; I was accepted.

The group is still new so forming a solid opinion was tough, but what I gave feedback on was an outsiders view in with the lack of information given to the community from the group.

Till this day I wish we have the opportunity for another group to wise up and challenge instinct, they would get wiped out like Skill and Respawn but hey, it's the thought that counts :)

Nobody has the balls though :/
