I have seen that the rate of scams on HF is increasing day by day,
One of the reason for this is that the victims feel very lazy in investigating the person to whom they are dealing with!
Nor the victims check the dealer on scammer database!
SUGGESTION:-
As we know, we have labels on our profile(Joined , Last Visit , Reputation , etc).. We will have a label called "Scam Reports" and beside it the number of scam reports posted against the user will be mentioned..
This will make the people to check scam reports against him before dealing with him!
Hope everyone liked the Idea!

I like this idea, but we have the DDB. I know it isn't the same, but that's probably people will say.

this would be a hellot of work to keep it updated. but there should be some vouch system yes.
I like the idea, bud. Not sure if it'll actually be implemented because of the DDB, though.
I'm pretty sure that this has been suggested multiple times already, not sure why Omni didn't like it. Solves a lot of problems.

A DDB that the average buyer doesn't check, if they even know about it.
Not all scam reports are valid. It wouldn't be fair to those who can't control what others post.

I don't see why... you just need a link to the DDB.

Aren't scam reports there to be seen? I think it's perfectly fair. The reports are already there, it would just make people know about them much easier.

Probably the only reason it isn't approved, it can't be 100% proven that the person is the scammer.

There is 1 scam report that uses my UID. The sad thing is, it's completely invalid and wasn't even on me. He mistaken me for a user called "Hugs", but my UID was used. The report is still there and if this was taken in I'd have 1 fucking scam report on my profile & I don't even use Marketplace.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Stupid idea, good idea is automated escrow like every normal forum with marketplace.
I don't see this happening. People need to do more research when dealing with certain members and use a MM more often.
Thank You everyone for supporting this Idea! And sorry if anyone not liked it!
Hope it will be implemented!

Another advantage is that it's easier to notice open scam reports on yourself.

But doesn't your view contradict the whole idea of scam reports and the DDB in the first place?
I've taken a look at your 2 scam reports and it was very obvious that you weren't scamming at all. Also they aren't even in the DDB.
I'm well aware of the fact that there are and will always be invalid or falsified scam reports, but I think it's 100% worth it. It's way, way too easy to get away with scamming on HF.

I agree, but that's not going to happen. Why not make it easier for them?
It seems like a good idea on paper, but we already have an efficient system of detecting scam reports.
