Hey guys, Aura here 🙂

So I just opened my OmniCoin Wallet (OMCv2) after like ... months of leaving it on my desktop. Usually, when you're out of sync, it starts sync'ing to update the network, right ? Well mine is sitting at "0 active connections to OmniCoin network". I was wondering if I have to change some addresses in the configuration file or if it was discontinued.

So long as the wallet you're using was downloaded AFTER the released of OMCv2 then you should be fine. The team updated the nodes and ports which could be why you're not getting any connections to the network. Try updating your Omnicoin.conf file to what I have below;

It should be in %AppData%\Omnicoin\omnicoin.conf

Unless you have it saved on an external harddrive like I do. It would depend on where your data directory is.

I'd like to stress that only the two first nodes are active (and necessary) and the rest of the lines are unnecessary. Those lines should be enough.

Issue solved, reinstalling the OMC Wallet since it seemed that the installation wasn't correct. Thank you to Aceman and the others, thread closed.
