This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Aug 28th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.

If Omnicoin is removed at Bittrex then I am done supporting it here on HF. I've calculated my losses so far and it's in the 5-figure range at this time. While I know there are some core supporters of the coin I also know this the OMC value has struggled recently due to heavy sell pressure by a couple large holders of OMC. I can't keep throwing good money into the Omnicoin project. I also feel that I'm being distracted unnecessarily when I could be focusing on more pressing matters.

Every day I basically login to Bittrex and I actually buy OMC to keep the price up and the volume moving. Wasting $20-$100 every damn day. I also pay for servers and accept OMC for the 3P1C group which has almost 1000 members in it. That alone places my losses in the 5-figure range.


I think I've done enough. That's not to say I couldn't have done more but the more time and effort I spend on projects that don't succeed the more my successful projects suffer. So I have to cut my losses on this or at the very least let the project attempt to stand on its own without my help. It could absolutely doom OMC and I'm aware of that. But it's been fun and it's been a good experiment. Maybe it's time we all move on?

Thanks to everyone who did spend their time and effort on this project. If you continue I 100% wish you the best of success.

I'll be putting up millions of OMC on Bittrex for sale at cheap prices. More or less I'm going to empty most of my wallet.

He's taking 5 figure losses already. Accepting a currency that has no value outside of this forum for things that he can accept money that can be made tangible easily (merchant account, PayPal, BTC, etc) is useless.

He's already made a usergroup, auctioned a group, bought OMC - it's going to fall since 13 year old scrubs are the main consumer.

True and I stated that in my post. But I'm tired of putting resources into this. The distraction is a problem. And just about everything I can do for OMC involves me accepting more OMC into my wallet. That's not a benefit for me.

Unfortunately the sell pressure at Bittrex is huge. There is an 8 BTC sell order at .00001 which is nearly $2000. Likely we'll never pass that price and OMC will remain depressed in value. It just further exasperates the problem and struggles we face.

And anything I plan to do to incorporate OMC into HF I could and should do with BTC which will be received much better by the community.

OMC award is being removed now too. Because I anticipate we'll be delisted. Just going to make the changes now while I have the time.
