My new Lenovo laptop that has windows 10 just says laptop pluged in but not charging and nothing I can do will make this go away. I am used to Windows 7 and 8 on my desktop.
Is there something in windows ten that can get in the way of charging? |

How old is it, and are you using the original power adapter?

This issue turned out to be a Lenovo setting for old people that use their laptop like a desktop and leave it on the charger all the time killing the battery. They set it so you can only charge it to 59%. You can probably raise that number to 90%, but if you leave it plugged in all the time there is no reason to.
