What?
If you go to your User CP, you can find a "Personal Notepad", which you probably have not used too often just like me. I would love to use it more frequently if it were accessible easier. So, it would be better if there it were as a button on all pages to popup the notepad (if you have enabled it from your settings). Why do you have to enable it from your settings? Maybe not everyone wants to have it on all pages. And it would be synced to the User CP "Personal Notepad".

Why?
I think that more would use it then. You could note down things such as "PM Omniscient regarding sticky" or "Reply to Novica's thread How to get out of the closet?" or whatever you want.

What would it look like?
As a button pretty much anywhere where it fits long as it is avaliable on all pages and not just User CP.

How much more accessible does the notepad need to be? All you have to do is click User CP and there is the notepad. It's available in one click. I don't see the benefit into adding the feature you mentioned.

Hmmm, so a popup that is accessible on every page, kind of like my Buddy List feature in HF ToolBar, but instead a textbox to the UserCP Notepad?

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant. I use my notepad all the time but it isn't hard for me to click on UseCP with scroll button, as it opens a new tab and do stuff from my notepad.

So only way I see this implemented would be through userscripts. It's same really if you click a link on your mainpage or open a new tab and switch.

I don't think the notepad on HF should be used much. Maybe if it was encrypted but it's not.
