I would first like to point out I don't read anything other than self help books like How to Win Friends and Influence People. Please recommend book(s) and a couple sentences to a paragraph describing why you chose to recommend me it. Thanks!
Looking to get back into reading, any recommended books? |

I highly recommend you get the book the magic of believing, it's a self-help and it's easy to get into. This book has honestly helped me in ways you can't believe. since reading it I've started 2 companies and I am now a part owner of three companies. Im not trying to sell you on the book because it's only two bucks but definitely worth it (Jul 26, 2017 04:42 PM)tehϲompany Wrote: I highly recommend you get the book the magic of believing, it's a self-help and it's easy to get into. If you enjoyed reading How to Win Friends and Influence People you will really enjoy reading The Like Switch: An Ex-FBI Agent’s Guide to Influencing, Attracting, and Winning People Over.
Builds off it nicely with even more ways to influence and attract people. The author offers example conversations to make understanding even more easier. For emotional or mental self-books, one that is well regarded is The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment. Extremely philosophical, was very hard for me to understand. As the title suggests it talks about simply living in the now. A book that I enjoyed was A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy. A primer to stoicism, after reading and applying their principles you feel more in tune with your emotions and view of life. After reading this book I never got frustrated/disappointed again for anything. There some other books but I feel like these made the biggest impression on me.
The Alchemist is a good one.
