For whatever reason, I just can't change my avatar URL. Every time I try to, it shows me this:

This is the image that I am trying to set for my account:

The image meets the 120x150 resolution requirement. URL is also HTTPS. I even tried using a different browser, same result. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
EDIT 2: Users who are in user groups have their profile load time back to 7~ seconds. I guess something is down on the admin's side.

I don't know if you normal users can add custom avatars or not!

Normal users can add an image URL. Only upgraded users can upload their avatar.

That's because you aren't using the direct link. Try below:

It's not working for me either, sometimes there is a bug where you can't change your avatar or signature image but I'll look more into maybe we could both be doing something wrong.

I'd swear that I've seen only imgur without that i.imgur - my bad then. Probably it has to do something with servers.

If you click it it'll redirect to the non-direct view (ad revenue), but I'm assuming that only happens in the presence of a Referer header.

Not working. Also followed your previous advice before you edited your post, still not working.

It would maybe be an issue with the server if you were uploading a new avatar.
But you're only using direct link and that is the same function as making a post or changing username, etc (just adds the link in the database table under avatars).
I wouldn't think this is an issue with the server. Maybe try https://i.imgur.com/sbbqwv6.jpg

Copy pasted the same exact link you posted, still no result. As I've mentioned a few posts earlier, normal members are not able to upload avatars except only having to provide an avatar URL.

Its not about the upload url, its about the image which hackforums dont recognize, lets wait for the owners to fix the case.
