I don't restart my PC often but did so today after about 2 weeks. I realized everything is zoomed in so I looked and sure enough my resolution was changed to 800 x 600.

I figured that everything would be good now after changing it back to normal but my second monitor isn't getting a signal now. I've unplugged nothing.


I also checked for an update of drivers on my video card and instead of my videocard it now shows as "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter".

Somebody please point me in the right direction to fixing these things please.

Going to try to do a Windows Update (fuck I hate those!) first then I'll try that.

Update didn't work :( Still have the 2nd monitor not being detected now, wtf Windows.

Microsoft Basic Display Adapter is generic drivers. You need you re-download the lastest drive from the manufacture.

Now I can't even find out which video card exactly that I have.
Fuck Windows seriously... and do you know if this is what's causing my second monitor not to work too? All I did was restart my PC for this madness.
